mapping acquisition bibliographic record to MARC in catalog staff client

I have just updated a list of books for acquisition for our library as suggestions. How do I get to show their bibliographic record in the cataloguing module? Secondly, How do I change status to On Order and Order Received? When I search on staff client catalog, the bibliographic record is not showing, how do I map the bibliographic records of items ordered to MARC in the cataloguing module to show? thank you Luisa Korodrau

We have a number of older librarians who are experiencing trouble with the new “flat” style of the staff Basic editor (addbiblio.pl). They prefer this to the Advanced Editor so I don’t want to teach them a new routine. I have looked through the documentation, Bugzilla and the lists and did not see anything that stood out about how to configure a CSS for this page or change the look and feel. I freely admit that I might have missed something that is clearly documented. What I am trying to accomplish is to add some contrast to the tabs and adjust where the field entry boxes appear on the screen. Am I out of bounds in trying to make these style changes (I like to stay as generic as possible in the configuration), or where should I look? Also, I noticed that when you select “Save and continue editing” the page focus is charged to tab 9 rather than returning to the tab you were working on. Dixson, The answer to that depends on what you are trying to achieve - (a) just get the currently checked out items into Koha's issues table or (b) "a" + generate account lines entries for outstanding fines as well. No direct scripts per se is bundled with Koha. But using a .koc file is an option. In our case, we have developed custom perl scripts that calls on Koha's circ sub-routine libs to do the heavy lifting for us. The prime benefit being that all FK referential integrity gets taken care of. cheers Indranil. Uploading local cover images

Hi, All -- I've searched the manual & list archives, but wasn't able to find an answer to this question. What are best practices for uploading local cover images? I'm thinking specifically of image size and aspect ratio. According to github (https://github.com/Koha-Community/Koha/blob/master/tools/upload-cover-image…) "This script is called and presents the user with an interface allowing him/her to upload a single cover image or bulk cover images via a zip file. Images will be resized into thumbnails of 140x200 pixels and larger images of 800x600 pixels. If the images that are uploaded are larger, they will be resized, maintaining aspect ratio." Is this information still accurate? Our source images are typically several megabytes in size & we don't want to spend time preprocessing if this is unnecessary. Shibboleth eats search results

We recently implemented Shiibboleth for authentication at our site. We did get that to work. Yay! But... We are now finding that, after we log in, search information is no longer being returned after a search. Looking at the logs, the server is logging the same output as it does on another server which is not running shibboleth. The only difference is that the web browser does not seem to be displaying results. Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on? I know there are few who have implemented Shibboleth, but am wondering if there are any others who have lost search results after logins in a similar way. I'm running Koha 18.11.4. Order of display of 246 $i and $a fields

Hi! My users have noticed something that's bothered me, but I held off clutching my pearls about it until one of my users complained to me!:) I'm wondering if this might be worth my learning to try to file a bug? The MARC21 Bibliographic Format for subfield i in the 246 field specifies putting a colon at the end of the text in that field, intending the data in that subfield to precede the title data, i.e.: 245 00$aBulletin of atomic scientists. *246* *1#**$i*At head of title:*$a*Science and public affairs*$f*Jan. 1970-Apr. 1974 *246* *1#**$i*Title on container:*$a*New Brunswick royal gazette *246* *1#**$i*Alternate issues published with title:*$a*Chicago daily telegraph But Koha displays the $i data *after* the title in the staff client and the OPAC, e.g. an example from our catalog: https://keys.bywatersolutions.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=… Displays: Other title:...Rees on ships [Binder's spine title:].
