Hello everyone, Is there a way I can view the activities of various admin users who have special access to the koha portals. By activities, I mainly need the record of creating/modifying patrons, adding new books, creating/modifying /modifying vendors, creating/modifying baskets, orders, subscription to journals, etc. Can this be done? Extracting Frequency of a Serial From metadata

Setup library check-out computer for students to use

Dear All, I need some help please. I would like to set up a self-issue computer for our students so that they can issue their own items using their student/library card. I have checked the Koha manual, but couldn't find the instructions on how to setup the screen to self-issue (check-out) mode. I just want the computer to check out items. Export database to koha and installing Koha

Notify the borrower when a hold is placed

Hi, We would like to allow our university teacher to have very long loan period. We would like to notify them when a hold is placed on a book that they have checked out. Do you know if it's possible ? Renew Date problem with koha 19.05

Hi All, Recently I am facing a problem while renew the checkout book in koha 19.05 . I allocated 14 days for loan period, But when i renew the book the system is not adding the loan period (current date + 14 days). system is showing current date. Is there any option to be change current system preference ?. Now the system preference is showing "RenewalPeriodBase: the current date" Regards, Dixson

Auto- increment problem reoccurred after machine restart

Hi Friends, recently I set up koha 18.05 versions on Ubuntu 18.04 and migrated data from local software after doing necessary marc editing. Everything worked well, however while checking for missing barcodes, I came across a good number of duplicate barcode, which I later deleted using batch item deletion module. In between I also edited lots of data having both minor and major corrections. Simultaneously I created patrons and checked for book check-in and check-outs and to my surprise, I was able to check-out books, but was not able to check-in. while looking for the reasons, the problem emerged of auto- increment with an exact error “The following ids exist in both tables issues and old_issues:”. While looking for solution, I came across “DELETE FROM old_issues WHERE issue_id IN (1, 2);” command and applied it after making necessary changes in numbers as per system information. This solution worked and I was once again able to check-in and check-out. But, the moment I restarted machine, the problem reoccurred and am still wondering for solution. Of late, I upgraded my machine to koha 19.05, but the problem still persists. I shall feel grateful, should you help me to fix this auto increment problem and do share the reasons, as what actuated this problem . Thanking you.
