Koha February release with security fixes

Hi all, The Koha community is proud to announce the release of February versions: 24.11.02 24.05.07 23.11.12 22.11.24 It is a bugfix/maintenance release including security fixes. It is highly recommended to upgrade. Hi David, Thanks for your contribution as well! I hadn't heard of the fonts-unifont package before. Unfortunately, it looks like "fonts-unifont" only includes .ttf files in Debian 11 Bullseye. In Debian 12 Bookworm and onward, they're .otf files which Koha can't use. For Ubuntu... looks like Ubuntu 22.04 Jammy has the .ttf version while Ubuntu 24.04 noble and onwards has the .otf version. So looks like it'll be a mixed bag there. But it's got me thinking. Maybe we can include the Unifont .ttf in Koha and provide a "Unifont" option in the Label creator as a backup option for people without other options. I manage another system with which Michael is familiar, and your contribution has helped me understand it better. (I came into administration of this server only a few years ago. At one point, I discovered that there is a crazy number of font packages installed, and I wasn't sure why.) Michael, if it helps, the Debian package "fonts-unifont" is installed on our server. Koha bug in item search

Dear colleagues, I have found a bug in the item search within the Russian localization. By default, the visualization of the item search selects all fields. When I attempt to perform a search, I receive a 500 error. The search works fine in both the German and English localizations. Any ideas on what might be causing this? I'm not super familiar with the translation mechanisms, but I reckon that whatever replaces the text in _() constructs should perform some escaping (at the very least of double quotes). I'll raise a Bugzilla issue for that... Printing spine labels in non-Roman characters, Thai in particular

Hello everybody, A while back I helped an institution in Thailand set up a Koha instance for their library. Now they need to print spine labels in the Thai alphabet, and I haven't been able to figure out how. I set up their instance to include the Thai language module, but the characters aren't appearing in spine labels. Can anyone assist them? I don't think they're on the Koha discussion list (or Mattermost), so please include Michael Leung ykleung7(a)msn.com<mailto:ykleung7@msn.com> in your replies. (And to the list--I want to know, too!) OPAC UI Changes not showing up

I am making changes to the OPAC UI (StaffLoginInstructions) and the changes are not showing up. I have tried restarting apache and doing a hard refresh. Setting a different default search for the staff UI in 24.11
