Inter library loan electronic article request.

Hello Seen ILL features but how can we make possible the article request? The requirement is: 1. A user may request an online article of the journal via OPAC along with its detail like URL/DOI etc. which is not available to institute. 2. The librarians see the request on the staff client 3. Librarians send the same request to other institutes libraries colleagues through email (Not from Koha) 4. On getting the soft copy librarian to upload the article and then members receive the email and download the same from their OPAC portal 5. Which librarians fulfilled their request should be shown along with status. Please not hear no library (branch or participating library need to be created) it is just a free request through Koha to manage inside the koha. Thanking You. 'Codename' value from '20.11' to '21.05

Good morning, I received the following message after apt-get update *E: Repository 'http://debian.koha-community.org/koha <http://debian.koha-community.org/koha> stable InRelease' changed i ts 'Codename' value from '20.11' to '21.05'N: This must be accepted explicitly before updates for this repository can be applied. See apt-secure(8) manpage for details.* Should this be fixed? What correction is needed? thanks Victor

Koha SIP2 performing very slow

Hello , I have installed koha 20.11 and am trying to use SIP2. The SIP2 service is responding properly from the server. But there is a lot of delay in data processing from one server to another (means from koha server to Middleware Server). when request sent first time it will return correct response but after second time with another request it display previous response. I have checked our server sip log file, it returns the correct response every time. What can I do to improve SIP performance. is there any way to improve telnet response performance or Middleware Server

Create new record matching rule - 035a

Hi, I've tried creating a new record matching rule to use tag 035a and despite trying a lot of things its not working. Field 035a contains a four digit arabic number (e.g. 1500). Someone please help me create the rule. Regards James

circulation.pl is maxing out the CPU - Need help!

Gentle Reader, We are running Koha 19.11 on Debian 9.11 (stretch). This supports 5 koha instances for some of the volunteer-run libraries in Sheffield. It has been stable and working fine for many months. Recently we have seen a few instances of the server load abruptly shooting up, maxing out the CPU and making the system unusable. Running "top" when this happens shows that there are two instances of /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/circ/circulation.pl which between them are using 100% of the CPU. Rebooting clears the problem of course, but is not a practical long-term solution. I am looking for suggestions as to what might be causing this or how we might investigate further. Any help would be appreciated as this is having significant operational impact now. Thanks and Best Regards, Chris Brown

Adding Quarantined Status to subfield 7

Good day. In the COVID-19 environment, our checked-in items are to be quarantined for 3 days. I would like to have an SQL UPDATE statement that enables me to update subfied 7 on item check-in to quarantine (e.g number 4, for augment sake) on check-in and after three days, through a cronjob, change the status to 0 ( for available). Serials, can't add sub ("vendor does not exist")

Good afternoon, I find that I'm unable to associate a vendor with a new or existing subscription record. Although I am able to search for a vendor on the subscription edit form at serials/subscription-add.pl, saving the form results in "The vendor does not exist." I'm using Koha 20.11.02. Perhaps I am missing something obvious. I'm doing this: * Navigate to Home > Serials, and click "New subscription" * On the form: o Search for and select an active vendor record and then a bib record o Click "Next" * Receive error, "The vendor does not exist." I've verified the following: * Vendor exists and is active * Bib record for the serial exists * Also, "claim serial issue" notice exists (this was the only acq/serial thing I found that was obviously undefined) I've tried creating a new vendor, and also using different bibs, and making sure their 008's indicate they are continuing resources, just in case. . I don't see anything useful in /var/log/koha except a bunch of errors like this that seem to be complaining about collection codes when I look at the problem line in the indicated script: [2021/05/28 14:44:33] [WARN] Use of uninitialized value in string comparison (cmp) at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/serials/subscription-bib-search.pl line 221. With help from David Cook and a few tutorials online, we were able to accomplish, to our very great surprise. We now have another problem: copying the existing 242$c or new 880$c into the 245$c with the preceding slash. Does anyone have an idea how to do this? I have tried MarcEdit's swap field functionality, but I just cannot get it to work. It ends up replacing the 245 subfields altogether, leaving behind just the indicators and $c prefixed with a slash. Staff interface requests multiple logins

We're running 20.11.06 on our test site. In the staff interface searching, and editing a found record work fine. The problem occurs when I try to use authorities (any step of the process from searching, to looking at one, to editing one, or any method used to create a new biblio. authorities/authorities-home.pl authorities/ authorities-home.pl?op=do_search&type=intranet&authtypecode=&marclist=mainmainentry&and_or=and&excluding=&operator=contains&value=harmonica&orderby=HeadingAsc authorities/authorities.pl?authid=11041 cataloguing/addbooks.pl cataloguing/z3950_search.pl?biblionumber=&frameworkcode=Default cataloguing/addbiblio.pl?frameworkcode=BKS We can't find anything suspicious in the log files. It happens on chrome and firefox (running windows). I don't know if this makes a difference, but the test site is http not https. Any ideas what we should look for?
