While these questions aren't really Koha related, I thought I'd ask them here anyway. So, if I'm out of line, please bear with me. Does there exist an application that would allow a library to match their records to the Library of Congress (http://catalog.loc.gov) record? Let's say I have a book called, "The boy wonder". It only has the title, author, and publishing information. But, on the Library of Congress, that same book has all sorts of information which I want. Could I get it very easily without having to key in all the extra information myself? Another question. Does there exist a utility that analyzes data for invalid information and generates a report? Further to my holiday

Hi again Further to my previous message, Im going to be spending some time in Grand Junction, CO, and Pittsburgh PA, in the USA. As well as Munich in Germany. Off on holiday

Hi Guys Im off on my annual leave starting next friday (nz time) Im away for 24 days, Travelling to germany and the US. Im hoping to release version 1.06 before I go, which has some improvements to the performance of the searches. Ability to add junior and institution members/patrons And some fixes to the acquisitions section. Active development will pause (at this end at least) while im away. But when I get back i plan to get cvsweb up and running and developers.koha.org set up. Benedykt from Poland has been working on some polish locale filesm and has modified some scripts to use them , which im hoping to test when I get back. If anyone else has been working on anything please sing out. And if anything is urgently needed before I go, let me know. I wasn't able to find this answered on the website, so I figured I would ask here. What types of file formats are supported by Koha? Meaning, what formats can be imported/exported? Since these lines arent going to be called with the gettext function. Ie we dont want to translate html, or for that matter variables. catalogue maintenence module

Hi Chris / Mark, My eyes lit up at the thought of a catalogue maintenance module being written! Mark - if you are interested in pursuing this I'd be very happy to write down the kind of things we would like to have included. We are cataloguing all our acquisitions into koha which helps us identify glitch areas. Also, I tend to get the problems resulting from imperfect cataloguing practices in our original system that have been discovered since being converted to koha. just sing out - Jo.
