Barcode Generation Error

Could some one please help me with this error. list of issues at a given point

Hi, I am not able to find the list of issues of items at any given point and also the transaction details for the specific period which is neede from the audit point of view.Could anyone please help me out. -- Priyanka

Of course you can ! Koha MARC editor can't do every MARC tricks, but it can do at least some. Just type | in the subfield when you want to create separate subfields. For example : computer|logic in 650$a will create 650$acomputer$alogic HTH. Unicode

I imported two book records with chinese characters. However, there are about one or two characters that show up wacky. I used MARCEdit to convert the text file into MARC UTF file. When I open the file using MARCedit, all the characters look fine. I was told that MARCEdit uses Arial Unicode MS, is it the same code as UTF8? Problem with circulation report of koha

Hi, I have installed koha version 2.2.4and is trying to set up a library system for my organisation.I m an engineer and do not have much idea about managing library.I m facing problems while working with koha .I m not getting any output when working with reports specially with circulation reports.I need a list of issues of items at a particular point of time which i m unable to get.I also need the transaction details for the specific period of time as this is important from the audit point of view. Retreiving records from bulkmarcimport

How do I retrieve records from records imported through bulkmarcimport? Do I search the title in biblio reservoir ? Koha without ports

I'd like to install Koha 2.2.4 on a server where it will be integrated into an existing website. For various reasons I need to limit web activity to the default port 80. This means I need to have both the opac and the intranet sites run on port 80. My intention is to differentiate them using just directories under a single virtualserver instance. It looks like this should be possible based on what is being done in the httpd.conf. Just move the appropriate lines into directory .htaccess files under the already existing web path. My question is will this cause any problems with the backend/scripts/utilities/etc. If so, can anyone point me in the direction to get started modifying things? If not, I'll probably end up eventually modifying the installer.pl script on my server to accomodate this type of setup. Is this something that I should pass back to the Koha developer group if I do so? Thanks very much, Robert

Catalogue Input

We have installed windows version of Koha 2.2.4. on a stand alone computer. Currently we have only one person doing the input, we would like to enhance the efficiency by having two people input data at the same time. I think if Koha is installed on a network, we may be able to do that. But the installation instruction direct us to intall it on C drive. Any suggestion? --------------------------------- Yahoo! Saturday, December 17, 2005 16:46 CST Hi, Carol, In response to your problem with finding text files instead of MARC records from some libraries, a preliminary remark: it may, in the long term, be easier to try to find libraries that don't make that error. Or, if you do know/find that these libraries are the only sources for records you need, you may be able to contact staff in their cataloguing departments for access to the records in true MARC format. We did this at an air force school library where I worked on a contract and it did save us some time. There are also MARC record tools, of course, that will allow you to change text files into MARC records (the text should be delimited to make this easier for you). I would recommend MARCEdit, which I have found very reliable. But you can find a good list on the Records Tools page under the Library of Congress MARC Records, Systems and Tools section at URL <http://www.loc.gov/marc/marctools.html#recordtools> I hope this helps.
