Hi everyone, KohaCon Programme Is Online Read online at http://www.koha.org In 10 days the first Koha Conference will take place in Paris, France. The programme for the Discover Koha day on May 2nd and Koha User Group day on May 3rd have now been published on koha.org. PROGRAMMES The programme for each day at Koha Con is available at http://www.koha.org. * Discover Koha May 2nd http://www.koha.org/community/conferences/discoverkoha.html * Koha User Group May 3rd http://www.koha.org/community/conferences/usergroup.html Speakers will be presenting in their native language, translations in French and English will be available. internal error

I have finally reached the point where I am trying to load up the = hompage for Koha. I followed the instructions for installing Koha on = Debian (sarge). After going to http://myip:8080 it looks like my Koha = is going to load then I get an Internal Server Error. When checking the = apache2/error.log I read: access denied for user 'www-data'@'localhost' (using password: NO) at = /user/local/koha/intranet/modules/c4/context.pm line 411 Any help would be greatly appreciated. updating libc6 for koha

First of all, as this is my first mail to the list, greetings to everyone out there who reads this. I am a student from berlin, at the time trying to set up koha for a befriended library, but before that on my own machine. I have Linux 3.1 (sarge afaik) installed on my pc and am trying to make my way through to getting koha work on it. Problem as follows: I try to set up NET::Z3950 with the usual makefile etc., this module says it can't find -lwrap. I've found out that I need libwrap0 installed to solve that. libwrap0 (and libdbd-mysql-perl as well) say they need the libc 2.3.51 or higher versions of it, whereas on my linux installation there is something like 2.2.32. I've read that there is a high chance of messing up the system should i try to install libc from newer distributions. I couldnt find libc6 2351, but instead 2.3.6.7, which is apparently of the unstable-linux-distribution. though i didn't find relevant postings in the koha archive i assume i am not the first one who has this problem and i wanted to ask if and how others have solved this. Hullo all! I've sucessfully installed Koha on a Debian Sarge machine running MySql 4.0and Apache2. I corrected an error in the koha-httpd.conf Alias script lines and now my browser points to the right files on localhost:80 and localhost:8080, but it is popping up an error stating that Mozilla does not understand how to execute text/x-perl files and wants to choose the program from a list or download it instead of running the *.pl scripts after showing the "Welcome to Koha" page briefly. According to the koha installation program I have all perl scripts and modules installed and I have triple checked with every installation guide out there and am wits end on how to fix this error. Has anyone else hit this problem and if so how did you fix it? Thank you all for any help I recieve!! Joe Allen

Hi Ive install Koha and I am learning how to work with it :-) I found out that I didnt install the UNIMARC tags database. Is there any way to install it now, or Ive to install KOHA again? -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Salam and Hi to all, Dear Shahab, Instead of using amazon, you can point your book cover image to image mapped to local directory. This can be done by modifying the code a little bit. You can view the sample here. (But on contrary, I disable the amazon features.
