Dear All, We have 3 biblio frameworks created for our use in Koha. When we do a MARC check, it gives errors but does not say in which framework there is a problem. Can anyone let me know whether there is an option in koha to find out which biblio framework has an error? thanks --trupti

hi i am a student who work on OPAC for my collage library but i still cant ever install koha properly and can work on it if somebody can help me when i install the KOHA there are some modul cant be installed and when i type localhost on my server it apper 500 error waht is it and it even can conect to my server please help me --------------------------------- Yahoo! Dear all, I am having serious problems with Z3950 searches. I'm trying to make some searches on pre-added z3050 searches but it keeps giving No results found when it should give some results! I read something about a deamon which is in koha/intranet/scripts/z3950daemon/ . Can someone explain me what I need to do to set this up?

You add a new 700a field for each additional author. Title goes in the 245a field, usually.Religious texts are a little different, so do look up a Qu'ran entry and a Bible entry. Hi, I'm in charge of information technology at the National Teachers' Institute in Kaduna, Nigeria. NTI provides teacher training by distance learning, so our students are scattered all over the country. One of our aims is to make the library more accessible to the students. I've just set up a Koha server at our library so that the staff can try it out. If this trial is successful we'll set up a dedicated server and we'll start the long process of adding all the books to the system. One problem we've encountered so far is that none of us understand MARC. The reference materials I've found so far are all a bit theoretical, which is probably fine if your degree was library-related. Can anyone suggest a good simple guide to MARC? I'm looking to develop some simple guidelines along the lines of "Enter the author's name in the XXX field, surname first then a comma followed by the other names". can't search by subject/author

Hello all, We have an interesting dis-connect with the functions of our Koha system. We cannot successfully search the catalogue by subject or by author. All searches end with "No results found." Even if we select a subject from a successful dictionary search (so we know that there must be something in the catalogue) we still get "No results found." All other search fields work just fine. Needless to say, not being able to search by author or subject severely limits our ability to find what we need! Any thoughts?
