In order to do the translation I have referred to the documentation that was available. It asks 1. Create your translation file (assuming your current directory is this directory, i.e., misc/translator): ./tmpl_process3.pl create -i ../../koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/default/en/ -s po/css_opac_fr_FR.po -r However, I have found that *I do not have koha-tmpl directory* at all and all its subcontents. The only directories that I have under c:\usr\koha224\scripts are '*misc'*, *'updater' *and '*z3950daemon*' Can anyone please suggest where can I find the directories that go into it esp. the '*koha-tmpl*' ? Normally, if you use release version, you shouldnot have to reprocess translation since it has already been done, esp French one. koha-tmpl is a directory in CVS directory tree and disappear in release. If you want to edit your files, get into htdocs/intranet-tmpl/default/fr/ and edit the template to match your requirements. HTH. -- Henri-Damien LAURENT
Hi Henri Thanks for your input. I have further questions following your email: 1) French translation has been done by default. However, if I have to do the translation in a non-roman script (i.e. Devanagari Script - Marathi) ... how would I do it? 2) Once done, I assume I will create another directory under "* C:\usr\koha224\intranet\htdocs\intranet-tmpl\default*" with the name say *mr * just like *fr*. 3) Having created this directory structure, how do I make Koha point to this directory? Looking forward to hearing from you Thanks Sushil On 10/10/06, Henri-Damien LAURENT <laurenthdl@alinto.com> wrote:

Having gone through the documentation about "How to Translate Koha" from the website and the docs, I got the following error when I executed step 1 [ *1. Create your translation file (assuming your current directory is this directory, i.e., misc/translator):* * * * ./tmpl_process3.pl create -i ../../koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/default/en/ -s po/css_opac_fr_FR.po -r*] *Can't locate Locale/PO.pm in @INC **(@INC contains: c:\usr\koha224\intranet\modules C:/usr/lib C:/usr/site/lib .) *at C:\usr\koha224\scripts\misc\translator\tmpl_process3.pl line 16. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at C:\usr\koha224\scripts\misc\translator\tmpl _process3.pl line 16. Can anyone kindly enlighten me about this please. Many Thanks Sushil
