by arnab 10 Sep '08

Dear All, I'm using the script "tmpl_process3.pl" for creating a PO file. But when executing the script it is giving an error... Missing files for reserves?
by Krishnan Mani 10 Sep '08

10 Sep '08

Hi, i am running koha-3.00.00-stableRC1.tar.gz on Fedora 9 ('uname -r' says 2.6..25.14-108.fc9.i686) Some files may be missing that are related to managing reserves (aka holds) 1) Instance 1 In Intranet, on the circulation home page, under Circulation Reports, the "Holds Queue" link is dead, and returns a 404:not found The link is http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/circ/view_holdsqueue.pl The file view_holdsqueue.pl is missing from /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/circ which is where Koha is installed. This file is also not in the install download. i haven't checked git yet 2) Instance 2 As per the Koha manual (appendices > Cronjobs): Script path: misc/cronjobs/holds/build_holds_queue.pl Does: Updates holds queue Required by: Circulation >> Holds Queue Frequency suggestion: every 1-4 hrs i can't find this script in cronjobs or bin or indeed anywhere in the installed paths or in the install download. What do i really need to manage reserves? Is a cronjob really needed? Is e-mail notification for reserves included with other jobs like "process_message_queue.pl"? Problem with display, mysql, zebra, and MARC appearing different
by Bruce Raymond 10 Sep '08

10 Sep '08

The MARC records and the mysql/zebra records don't seem to match. Zebraqueue and zebra rebuild do not address the problem. I have included these details and *links* to examples to help illustrate the problem: When doing a catalog search: In the initial search results screen, some records display correctly, some don't. Correct records: http://catalog.rjhslibrary.info/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=harry+potter See Sample Here 1. Item displaying correctly indicate: Copies available (). 2. The detail records displays all copies available with correct location. 2. In the MARC record, the item detail displays correctly INCORRECT records: http://catalog.rjhslibrary.info/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=henry+james See Sample Here (See second and third record). 1. Item indicates "No items available." in the initial search. 2. The detail shows the holdings with correct location. 3. In the MARC record, there is NO item holding information. So if it doesn't show up on the initial search, but does in the detail, but DOES NOT in the MARC: Correct data exists somewhere, as indicated by the detail record, but needs to move to the MARC. What could be going on here - and how do I correct it? -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Problem-with-display%2C-mysql%2C-zebra%2C-and-MARC-ap… Sent from the Koha - Discuss mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Koha Startup
by paul 09 Sep '08

09 Sep '08

Hi Nicole, Do you have advice on how I can open our koha at Science Leadership library (Philadelphia)? Some time in June a new contractor took over the server, which is located at the Franklin Institute, out of our control. Since then, I can't open the OPAC or do any circulation functions. When I try opening, it redirects from port 8000 back to port 80. But we think the port is open, because if you try to go to an unopened port, then you get an error message. warm regards, Paul Scaer, Librarian
