At present report generated for all branches and library name is not displaying in the library column table is given bellow. we would like to know how other libraries are managing who have more than one branch libraries.it is the opinion that some options i.e library viz should be provided in the till reconciliation report, so that report can be generated by branch viz or it should show the report as per the login branch pl help us with thanks delhi public library Payments Library Date/time Surname Firstname Description Charge Type Invoice Amount Payment Type Payment Amount 2008-12-08 11:02:44 Praveen Kumari Barney 2008-11-29 F 2.00 payment 2.00 2008-12-08 11:02:44 Praveen Kumari Final Destination 3 : 2008-11-29 F 2.00 payment 2.00 2008-12-08 14:32:10 Nooralam Account Management fee A 300.00 payment 300.00 2008-12-08 14:43:16 Sharma Aniruddh Eragon 2008-12-07 F 1.00 payment 1.00 2008-12-08 14:43:16 Sharma Aniruddh Annapolis 2008-12-07 F 1.00 payment 1.00

Overdue Report
by Sharon Moreland 09 Dec '08

09 Dec '08

We have suppressed access to circ/overdue.pl in Production, but have it available on our Test installation. After playing with it some today, as test was mirrored from production last night and the data is fresh and accurate...I came up with some questions. Question 1: Should the report and filtering options (by library, by item type, by patron category) work the same on both servers? Question 2: If I'm reading Bug 2478 correctly - does this report even work at all?? We are able to successfully filter by library, but not by item type. Is work being done on overdue.pl for 3.2? The need we had was for one of our libraries to run a report to see which of their patrons had overdue DVDs. Simple, easy, or impossible? Re: [Koha] Parameters set, now testing functions (3.0)

YEAH!! The answer. Something so simple, yet so powerful. Need to add this information as a bullet point in the Adding MARC record section of the 3.0 manual. Can I do that or do we just make the suggestion? Thanx. Lenora >>> Kathy Rippel <kdr(a)ckls.org> 12/8/2008 1:18 PM >>> This may be too simple, but have you clicked on the "Label" (e.g., "Main Entry--Corporate Name"? Check your MArc records and make sure you hate item information in 952 and try importing again. For your import to be in your collection Number of items added should not be zero Olugbenga Adara

NoZebra is turned OFF. According to the Explanation "If ON, Zebra indexing is turned off" which I think means NoZebra is on. My geek does not want to "kill zebra" and so she is setting up a cronjob to do the indexing. She has found some other issue with Perl and has said that I can turn NoZebra to the other setting temporarily; she's a fan of Zebras. Koha 3.someting on a Linux OS. Have tried and tried to get records into the catalog. Can run the Log Viewer and see biblios and items added but cannot see them in the catalog. Yesterday I used the Log Viewer to delete them all. This morning I tried again: was told "Completed import of records" then, after a snack, searched the catalog and was told "No results found No results match your search for 'economics' in Stevens-Henager College Libraries Catalog." What am I doing wrong? Log Viewer with the first attempt: Date Librarian Module Action Object Info 2008-10-13 10:44:54 0 CATALOGUING ADD biblio 1 biblio MARC Import screen from today: Manage Staged MARC Records > Batch 7 File name YDX.D081204.bin Comments Staged 2008-12-09 06:16:47 Status imported Matching rule applied ISBN (020$a) Action if matching record found replace Action if no match found create_new Item processing always_add Completed import of records Number of records added 4 Number of records updated 0 Number of records ignored 0 Number of items added 0 Number of items ignored because of duplicate barcode 0 Yesterday my geek offered to flush it all and start over. As it took her about 3 days to get it going and I've been working on it since August, I hope this is not the way to fix the problem. How can I get biblios into the catalog? Koha 3 in production WITH diactrics
by Chris Mueller 09 Dec '08

09 Dec '08

Does anyone have Koha 3 in production with diactrics (utf-8) working correctly -- diacritics display and searches on terms which have diacritics work? I've been to several library catalogs which appear to be using Koha 3 and which show items published in English and Spanish, but none of them have diacritics working. Some sites display diacritics correctly, but searches on terms with diacritics fail. Thanks for any URLs of Koha 3 with diacritics working! Zebra rebuild running in crontab script?
by Winter, James 09 Dec '08

09 Dec '08

Has anyone experienced a problem running rebuild_zebra.pl in a sh script running in crontab? The rebuild_zebra doesn't delete or update the existing index (I'm using the -r switch) and if I manually delete the index files through the script the rebuild_zebra doesn't recreate them. If I run the rebuild_zebra script manually it runs successfully and recreates the index files.
