MARC 21 framework versus UNIMARC

We set up our system for MARC 21 (which is verified in the Administrative module -System Preferences-Cataloging-marcflavour) but our bibliographic framework is defaulting to UNIMARC. anonymize circulation history

Greetings friends, there may be some bugs with anonymize circulation history when it is run while items are checked out. I find that items appear on overdues reports after they have been returned. Items cannot be deleted because Koha thinks they are checked out. Items also continue to show up on overdue reports even when they have been reissued and have a new due-date. What can we do so that our data is accurate? We will be checking out about another 700 items in the next few days; it seems any of the items that had been checked out and are reissued will be affected. I'd be happy to revert to a backup but we've not been very good about backing up the data. My geek will be here on campus Thursday and I'll be happy to pass on anything that will help us in this situation. Other than confirming that I'd buggered it up, she didn't have any ideas immediately. We're running Koha 3.0 on Debian. No Library Set

Amy, you have probably logged in as user Kohaadmin. That user does not have a home library. If you log in as a regular patron you will see the home branch displayed instead. New Koha installation - 952 field

Hello, I just installed Koha 3.0. Seems to be fine except I have run up against a problem with the 852-to-952 holdings field find & replace function (switching holdings info to 952 $o). First, let me mention that we use LCC, not Dewey. That said, I have successfully used MarcEdit to switch tag 852, $h,$i,$p,$k and $8 (date of acquisition) to field 952. Then, using the Koha 3.0 instructions, I added $b to the end of the 952s, and used the find & replace command to find: (=952 ..)(\$h)([A-Za-z0-9.]*)(\$i)([A-Za-z0-9.]*)(\$.*\$b[A-Za-z0-9.]*) and replace: $1$o$3 $5$6. However, this last part fails because I receive the message, "0 modifications made". I did select "use regular expressions". Is there something I am doing wrong? Is my LCC somehow messing up the works? Thanks for any tips or advice you can offer. I am not familiar with regular expressions so am not sure how to tweak them, if that is what is needed. I have pasted in one of my MARC records, below, so you can see what my records look like. using self checkout

Hi, I'm trying to use the self checkout module but it doesn't work as expected. I'm following the instructions on: http://sites.google.com/a/liblime.com/koha-manual/Home/Table-of-Contents/ma… 1. I created patron gave it catalogue and circulate permissions (ticked all other boxes as well) 2. I go to: http://mylibraryurl/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sco-main.pl 3. I type the *username* and password for the staff patron 4. Now I see the self checkout page as shown in the manual link above (white background). 5. When I now enter any card number in the box next to "Please enter your cardnumber:" I get back to the OPAC like page saying: You entered an incorrect username or password. Please try again! If on 3. I enter the *cardnumber" instead of the username I get a blank OPAC screen. Am I doing something wrong? I tried enabling the self checkout in the global configuration under circulation, but read in the manual that this parameter isn't implemented yet. -Jochum
