Reserves Pending -- priority 0

Hi all, I have been trying to find a solution to a small problem that we are having, and I don't seem to be having much luck . System : Koha 2.2.9, on Win 32 Issue: Under the Circulation > Reserves Pending, the priority will occasionally get set to zero...even when the item is issued and the "cancel reserve" option is selected correctly during the issuing procedure. From that point on, onces the priority has been set to zero, there is no way to delete the reserve from the "reserves pending list". The materials are correctly issued and tracked from that point on, but the "pending reserve request" with a priority of "0" seems to stick, and this list can grow quite large over time. Is there a way to clear these from the list using the standard librarian interface ? Is there a good way to clear them with a SQL query ??, is it safe to delete them with said query ?? Is it safe to just delete all reserves with a priority of zero? Thanks, Scott Owen Alma Public Schools

Joann- I haven't done all the "Tips and Tricks" sheets on cataloging yet, but I'm attaching the basic one that IS done, just in case that might help. Has anybody tried reading a Koha page with the Fire Vox screen reader plugin for Firefox? We have played with Fire Vox here at our library, and found it "mostly functional". Cataloguing coach

Hi all, We are in the process of moving to Koha 3.0. Test conversions have gone beautifully, and everthing is looking lovely so far. Chris Cormack is taking us through this process (splendidly well if you ask me) The only difficult thing we are struggling with is cataloguing - in Marc! Its an entirely foreign process for us and it would be lovely if someone might offer us suppoort as a coach to help us understand how cataloguing in Koha 3.0 works. We are qualified librarians, and 1 of us used to catalogue in marc about 20 years ago, but we seem to be making heavy work of the templates and tabs and reservoirs and z39.50 servers (which work well). Would anyone like to volunteer to be a completely unpaid but much loved Koha3-Cataloguing Coach for Horowhenua Library Trust? Cheers Joann Ransom.

Statistics for Shelving Location and Collection Code

Does anyone know if you can circulation statistics for Shelving Location and Collection code by location? In Koha we may need to use a combination of these two codes for display purposes. This will make it difficult to get statistics since there could be many different combinations created in the item database. Recreate items table from Marc records

Hi, Is there an easy way to recreate the data that belongs in the items table from Marc records with the appropriate information? We have some records that have item information, but do not have a corresponding item. The item data is there from an old import. Running Koha 3 using Marc21 schema. remove data

Hello all, I have load data with success into koha catalog. Now I would like to remove them, I go to managed staged records ANd then I click UNDO IMPORT INTO CATALOG...but job stay at 0% I have miss some thing? Translate script segfault in 3.01.00.032 and 3.01.00.034

I'm having trouble trying to run tmpl_process3 3.01.00.032 and 3.01.00.034 git revisions ok Koha. The error I get is: Generating Staff translation ... Creating ../../intranet/htdocs/intranet-tmpl/prog/es-ES//modules/cataloguing/value_builder/marc21_field_007.tmpl... Segmentation fault Generating OPAC translation ... Creating ../../opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/prog/es-ES//modules/opac-detail.tmpl... Segmentation fault I don't get those with 3.01.00 Even with an almost empty .po file I get the same error on the same place. koha 3.0 installation problem in centos 5.2

I have executed following commands for the installation already. # perl Makefile.PL #make #make test #make install All test successful and without any errors and warnings, make install is successful.
