Error 500 when trying to upload batch of local cover images

Hello, I am trying to upload around 400 local cover images in a batch and I get a 500 error An error has occurred! *Error 500* This message may have been caused by any of the following reasons: - You made use of an external link to an item that is no longer available - You followed an outdated link e.g. from a search engine or a bookmark - You tried to access a page that needs authentication - An internal link in the client is broken and the page does not exist What's next? - Use top menu bar to navigate to another part of Koha. - To report a broken link or any other issue, please contact the Koha Administrator. Send email <library(a)ert.gr> I followed the instructions ( http://manual.koha-community.org/3.22/en/uploadlocalimages.html) created a zip that includes the image files and a .txt that connects each one with a biblio number. I even tried with only two cover images. I have no problem uploading one by one, but it takes time. Saving Template for Send EMAIL

System not generating check-in and check-out messages

Hi I am running Koha . I have configured and test that my Koha server is sending messages. However, it appears my Koha system is not generating message to add to the mail queue. I am testing with a particular patron account and have enabled Item -check-in and item check-out notification by email. However, when I check the Notices Tab in the user account , I am getting the message " There is no record of any messages that have been sent to this patron " Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Koha and Dublin Core (and OAI harvesting)

Dear Colleagues, There is a digital repository indexing service named Mountain West Digital Library (mwdl.org) which uses ExLibris' Primo to OAI harvest the Dublin Core metadata records of digital artifacts found in digital repositories of the Intermountain West of the United States. After Primo harvests the metadata records, it then indexes them, making them searchable and browseable. I was thinking with Elastic Search, why couldn't Koha replace expensive Primo at mwdl.org. Maybe that is "comparing apples to oranges"? I watched Nick Clemens update on Elastic Search in Koha, which he gave at June's Koha-US meeting (https://youtu.be/hLkVtQ-UHMQ?t=6m4s) but I still have questions. I would like to know how close Koha is to being able to perform OAI harvesting of Dublin Core metadata records and then indexing them the way that Primo does. mwdl.org, and similar institutions, could then switch to Koha. I imagine that academic libraries, special libraries, and large public libraries would save a lot of money by switching to Koha from their expensive discovery layers if Koha, right out of the box, could harvest and index various metadata schemas from their digital collections (ebooks, digital photos, audio/video, maps, manuscripts, papers, etc.). Template Toolkit edit help please.

We have found functionality with auto-renewal in 17.05 which we want to change. When an item that is due for renewal is reserved at the title level, we find that in some circumstances Koha searches for other copies of the same title that are also out on loan, and sends an AUTO_RENEWAL email to ALL the users warning them all of renewal failure, even though copies are in most cases nowhere near the date for renewal. Ideally the person whose item is due today will get the AUTO_RENWAL failure notification, bring the item back, and the other people who have copies on loan are not contacted (and confused!). We want to test out whether this can be achieved by an edit to the condition in the template toolkit. So rather this: [% ELSIF checkout.auto_renew_error == 'on_reserve' %] This item has been reserved by another reader. ... we have something like this: [% ELSIF checkout.auto_renew_error == 'on_reserve' %] AND [% checkout.date_due %==today] This item has been reserved by another reader. Can someone please help with the coding of the second condition (if indeed use of a second condition is permissible). Thanks. I noticed one other thing that surprised me. I don't know the username for logging into the administrative interface, so I looked to see what I could find in the database was empty. Thinking that I must have munged something, I tried to create a new instance with another name. The new instance's database was also empty: toolchest monk # koha-create --create-db monasterylibrary Koha instance is empty, no staff user created.
