Upcoming Koha Global Bug Squashing Day! Wednesday, 11 October 2017
by Nick Clemens 28 Sep '17

28 Sep '17

Hello everyone! It's that most exciting time of year, the time when we ask everyone to join as a community and work stomping, squishing and squashing bugs in Koha. Now, remember, even our enhancements are bugs, so we are looking too for you to test, promote, push and document the lovely new features that developers are working so hard to get into your systems and make your days brighter. When: Wednesday, 11 October 2017 What does it mean, and how can you help? Find those answers on the wiki: https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/2017-10-11_Global_bug_squashing_day Add your interests, promote your bugs, and ask everything you wanted to know about Koha but were afraid to ask! If you can't make it that day, participate early or late, and we're always happy to see you often. More info to follow as the date approaches :-) -Nick (kidclamp)

Display LOC/DDC in OPAC Normal View
by Charlotte Stock 27 Sep '17

27 Sep '17

Our OPAC Normal View for a record only shows the DDC classification, whereas I would like it to show the LOC classification or, if necessary, both DDC and LOC. Having trawled through the OPAC and framework options though, I still cannot find where to make this adjustment. Please could someone signpost the route I should take? Title search in KOHA
by nikesh 27 Sep '17

27 Sep '17

Hi, Author results also appears when I limit my search to title only. I think it appears because KOHA indexing treats statement of responsibility as part of title. How can I edit zebra indexing to get rid of that ? Example : I searched for Shakespeare in Title but document with Shakespeare as an Auhtor also appear in the search result. Please see the link below. https://opac.kustar.ac.ae/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?idx=ti&q=shakespeare Best regards Nikesh *Nikesh Narayanan *I Systems & e-Librarian I Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research <http://www.kustar.ac.ae/> PO Box 127788, Abu Dhabi, UAE Mobile : +971507097346
