Fines always zero

Hello, I am a relative newcomer to Koha. My system (Koha 17.05 on Debian) is not calculating fines (they are always zero). I have checked: 1. There is a non-zero fine set in my default circulation rule (the only rule at the moment) 2. The cron jobs seem to be running ... e.g. I see a backup file created at 06.25 each morning. 3. I have also tried running /etc/cron.daily/koha-common manually but the fines are still zero. Any suggestions on the likely cause, or how to investigate further? Thanks! Chris Brown

Reconfiguring the Intranet from 8080 to a real domain.

Hello, I'd like to ask for some help. I have successfully created a Letsencrypt certificate for the OPAC side of my Koha domain opac.domain.com What I would like to do, is instead of having a non-https http://opac.domain.com:8080/ site for the Librarian Interface, I would like to have a Letsencrypt certificate for the https://intranet.domain.com/ Is that possible? To secure with https both the front-end and the back-end of Koha? (since I think port 8080, precludes the use of 443 for https?) Could someone share their Apache or koha-sites.conf configuration as to how that would work? I understand how to generate the Letsencrypt certificate - but it's just getting the domain pointed to what was 8080 but making it now 80 (step 1), and then forcing a redirect to 443 for the https... Presumably - and perhaps this is my mistake - the domain registration of opac.domain.com and intranet.domain.com (and I know they have to be 'real domains') has to be pointing to the same IP? Default screen when logged in to opac account

Hello, When our patrons login to their account in the opac they are brought to our opac homepage, i.e. the search screen. In order to see their summary/checkouts they need to click on their name on the top right-hand side of the screen. This is causing confusion as they often don't know to click on their name. Delete of biblio while cancel the biblio from order (need improvement)

Dear All, There is an option to cancel OR cancel and delete the biblio from order, but if we only cancel the biblio it is still visible in OPAC and may have unnecessary access to users but benefit is we can check history in order about the titles canceled another scenario is if we delete and cancel the biblio from order it will no longer visible in OPAC and its detail will be also deleted from cancel biblio details hence library staff may not be able to see the Exact tile which has been canceled from the order. So the requirement is if title is only cancelled and no earlier items is attached with it than it should be visible in staff client only but not indexed (de-indexed) in OPAC so that staff can see the titles detail cancelled from order and could be useful to generate reports of cancelled titles from order. Hold - available items in other libraries

Hi, Our University (https://opac.kustar.ac.ae/) has 6 branch libraries. We would like to set up the hold (circulation rule) in the following way - Do not allow hold if an item is available in the home library but allow hold for available items in other libraries. Is there any way to do like that Currently we have set it up as given below *Patron category* *Item type* *No automatic renewal after* *On shelf holds allowed* *Item level holds* Graduate Student all If all unavailable Allow But this set up restricts to hold the *available items* in other libraries.
