Hi Katrin, I have checked that our setting is “Do not check borrower checkout history to see if the current item has been checked out before.” That’s why it has no problem over the Circulation Counter but the problem is with 3M self-check machine. With our 3M self-check machine, we have found that once we have checked out and checked in an item, we can’t check-out this item 2nd time. The error message is “Item not checked out. Item cannot be issued PREVISSUE. Please take the item to the desk”. 3M self-check and RFID tagging for restricted return on some library materials

We use 3M self-check with RFID for library materials. Unfortunately, when we first started tagging, we’re suggested to tag everything as books only. Now with the 3M self-check, I would like to restrict some of materials so that they can’t be returned through self-check machine; namely AV, Course Reserve and Closed Collection. Is there anything we can do in Koha to have this restriction instead of having to re-tag all of these materials again? Error retrieving biblio in rebuild_zebra.pl line 680

Records exported: 0 ==================== REINDEXING zebra ==================== ==================== CLEANING ==================== When I check the file at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 680, the code already has the fix described at https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18927 On further examination, I noticed that the issue is also related to bug 17196 https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17196 After the upgrade, it appears the table biblioitems no longer has the marcxml field. Also, the new table biblio_metadata exists but is empty. The other new table deletedbiblio_metadata however has data in it. Indexing with koha-rebuild-zebra -f -v -a koha for authorities works fine with no problems. It appears the update process didn't migrate the data from biblioitems.marcxml to biblio_metadata as should be the case and this is most likely why zebra is not able to index. Failed Searches, No Data Returned, Increased CPU Utilization

Zebra server is running and recently rebuilt, but searches are slow and return no results. Koha has been installed on AWS t2.micro instance for the past few years without issue (we are a small library), but something is suddenly running often enough that it is slowing everything else down. I know enough to have installed/updated/maintained things this far, but I'm not sure what logs will help me figure this out. Thanks, Jesse Stallings

SIP 2 connection (RAW 6001) only function to 1 machine ONLY

Hi There, Our koha version 17.11 (ubuntu 14.04) able to connect with SIP2 to one machine ONLY. FYI, we have 2 machines (Self-check, Book Drop) and a Tagging Workstation that needed to be connected concurrently. If I activated Selfcheck, Book Drop and tagging workstation will be disconnected from SIP2 . All 3 above need to be connected from port 6001 (RAW) service. How do I do that? Please assist me. Holds in Koha 18.11

Hello, I want to be sure to understand properly the circulation rules because I haven't found the complete information in the manual (perhaps, I haven't looked at the good place?) In the first table of the "Circulation and fines rules" page, we can find this three column: Holds allowed (total) Holds allowed (daily) Holds per record (count) Holds allowed (total): does it mean the maximum of items that could be reserved for an itemtype / patron category at once? Holds allowed (daily): does it mean the number of items that could be reserved per day for an itemtype / patron category? Holds per record (count) : does it mean the maximum of records that could be reserved for an itemtype / patron category at once? What the syspref maxreserves is about ? items or records? If patrons try to reserve several itemtype and the total of reservation of each itemtype is bigger than the maxreserves syspref, would they be blocked when they will reach the number of holds put in the syspref? In the table of the circulation rules : "Default checkout, hold and return policy", does the column "Maximum total holds allowed (count)" concern items or records? In the table "Checkout, hold policy by patron category", it's possible to put a limit of holds by category type : is it the number of records or items? Does Koha always use the lower of the limits for each settings usable? opac search returned results doesn't show title information

Hi, When I upgraded koha17.11 to 18.11 （unimarc）, the opac search returned results list doesn't show title information,but the intranet search returned results show very well. How to solve this problem? Peter
