ZEBRA SEARCH RETURNING "NO RESULTS MATCH YOUR SEARCH

Dear Koha Community Members, Is there any way we can rebuild zebra in koha apart from running "sudo koha-rebuild-zebra -v --full $(/usr/sbin/koha-list)" It stopped working two weeks ago and trying this command won't solve the problem. Bulk-import authorities via SRU/Z39.50?

Is there a script / tool / plugin available in Koha that allows me to bulk import authority data from e.g. GND (DNB) based only on the GND-ID? i.e., given a (loing) list of IDs like 118590359, I'd like to fetch the data from https://portal.dnb.de/opac.htm?method=simpleSearch&cqlMode=true&query=nid%3… and create a new authority record in Koha. I can of course hack up such a script (or extend an existing one), but before starting from scratch I thought I'd ask for prior art... Hi Joel and Chris Thanks for your messages! As Chris pointed out <Location /> is correct - it is saying that the location is / (i. e. the entire site) and this wasn't the the cause of the 404 message indeed. So the following Apache configuration (according to https://perldoc.koha-community.org/C4/Auth_with_shibboleth.html ) actually does work with Koha 20.11 running Plack: <Location /> AuthType shibboleth Require shibboleth ShibUseEnvironment Off ShibUseHeaders On </Location> Shibboleth accesses the XML file using a URL like https://kohaserver.yourdomain.example.com/Shibboleth.sso/Metadata and misled by the https I had the following configuration in my file "shibboleth2.xml" <Sessions lifetime="28800" timeout="3600" relayState="ss:mem" checkAddress="false" handlerSSL="true" cookieProps="https"> This was wrong because in my case HTTPS/SSL is not configured on the Koha host in its Apache configuration (which has only entries for HTTP *:80 and HTTP *:8080) but on the entry host. So the correct configuration is the following <Sessions lifetime="28800" timeout="3600" relayState="ss:mem" checkAddress="false" handlerSSL="false" cookieProps="http"> So I'll get the following warnings and will have to live with it for the time being: $ sudo shibd -t 2021-05-06 23:43:07 WARN Shibboleth.Application : insecure cookieProps setting, set to "https" for SSL/TLS-only usage 2021-05-06 23:43:07 WARN Shibboleth.Application : handlerSSL should be enabled for SSL/TLS-enabled web sites overall configuration is loadable, check console or log for non-fatal problems I only found this out when completely rebuilding my configuration from zero. Koha and Shibboleth

Hi In order to use Shibboleth with Koha 20.11 on Debian GNU/Linux 10 I searched for information about the necessary configuration. The Koha manual doesn't say anything about Shibboleth, but I found https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Shibboleth_Configuration which seems to be the only source of information on this. I followed the information until section "Enabling Shibboleth for your Virtualhost" where it says "Important: Before moving on from this section, you should be able to visit this address and see an xml file download, with no errors shown in your browser: https://kohaserver.yourdomain.example.com/Shibboleth.sso/Metadata" Command "shibd -t" says: overall configuration is loadable, check console or log for non-fatal problems According to https://github.com/Koha-Community/Koha/blob/master/C4/Auth_with_shibboleth.… I inserted the following into the Apache configuration file <instance>.conf to tell Apache to allow Koha (with Plack running) to authenticate via Shibboleth: <Location /> AuthType shibboleth Require shibboleth ShibUseEnvironment Off ShibUseHeaders On </Location> Replacing "kohaserver.yourdomain.example.com" with the actual domain I tried all sorts of configuration but all I ever get is just the following message instead of the expected XML: Sorry, the requested page is not available Error 404 What may be the cause for this? Change due date to all loans

Hi to all, I want to check an SQL instrution to change due date of all loan. The idea is to set all due dato to 04 Nov 2021. SQL: UPDATE issues a INNER JOIN items b ON (a.itemnumber = b.itemnumber) INNER JOIN borrowers c ON (a.borrowernumber = c.borrowernumber) SET a.date_due='2021-11-04 23:59:59', b.onloan ='2021-11-04' In fact it changes only values into issues.date_due and items.onloan I don't have records inside reserves Do you think it is enough ?
