hi all and assalamualaikum, I have tested Koha with FC4, and find it run well. But you have to be carefull with module dependencies. My suggest is, keep minimum installation, then install only needed module with the right version. NPL template cause problem with z39.50

Hi all, I have set up Koha on the following site: http://cdiq.dyndns.org running on debian sarge, koha2.2.5, mysql4.0.24, apache2 2.0.54. At first I use default template for intranet, my z39.50 works fine. Later on I change to npl template, and z39.50search still works, the title found and display for 1 second, but then a white screen appear giving the following message: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/koha/z3950/0/ on this server. I have tried making a 0 directory, and change permission for z3950 directory, but still no luck. Anybody could help? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Hi! Thanks for trying to help me! In fact, my virtual host didnt have the option ExecCGI, but now it has, I restarted Apache and I still get the same error:-( Have you got any idea of what might be happening? Marc Structure for Koha 2.2.4 for Windows (XP Pro)

Has anyone been able to edit the Marc subfields structure for Koha 2.2.4 for Windows? Problem editing tag subfields: ver. 2.2.4

(Posted to koha-win32 yesterday, but no suggestions yet from that list.) I've managed to set up Koha 2.2.4 for Windows and have a few questions. Here's the first one. Am I allowed to edit the default framework? Or am I trying something I shouldn't? Here's what is happening: 1. I navigate to Parameters-Biblio Framework. The page reads: Biblio framework framework name, then go to MARC biblio to set MARC editor parameters (Aside: Is there supposed to be something in front of that second sentence fragment?) 2. I click the MARC Structure button to get to MARC tag structure admin for default MARC framework 3. I click on the first subfields link (green box) and get to MARC subfield structure admin for 010 (framework) where it says "You can edit subfields or add a new one by clicking on edit." I don't see the word "Edit" anywhere though assume that the open folder with the arrow on it at the bottom-left of the screen is the Edit hyperlink. But when I click on that folder, it returns an error message: Server error! The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Error message: Premature end of script headers: marc_subfields_structure.pl If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster. Error 500 intranet 03/31/06 15:01:35 Apache/2.0.54 (Win32) The URL that gives this error is: http://intranet/cgi-bin/koha/admin/marc_subfields_structure.pl?op=add_form&… Did I install something wrong? Koha test server results.

I attempted to reproduce the bug I have on our koha server on liblime and was unable to. However the interface bore no resemblance whatsoever to the interface we use. Is there anything custom about that interface or is it something that was changed on the general koha installation? Our interface is all in lime greens and purples and greys. I was curious as the interface on liblime had much more on it, but seemed to be more comprehensive. Our server information is as follows. Koha: 2.2.3 OS version: Linux wairaka 2.6.11-gentoo-r9 #3 Wed Jun 8 12:50:30 EST 2005 i686 Pentium III (Coppermine) GenuineIntel Perl: 5.008005 MySQL: mysql Ver 12.22 Distrib 4.0.24, for pc-linux-gnu (i386) Strangely no Apache version is listed on our Koha about page. I guess the bug could come from some strange incosistency in one of the support programs as well. If the interface on liblime is the one that just comes with the newest version of Koha then I will immediately talk to our server guy about upgrading, and while this is still all very strange thank you for pointing me to some tools to help figure it all out.
