Hello, This is Naveen from Pakistan. I work at a Public Sector Higher Education University and am trying to implement KOHA. We have been using in house developed LIS. However it needed upgrade and KOHA seems a good next step as many of our requirements have been implemented and tested. I am currently analyzing what policy and functional changes are required for koha implementation. I have found out so far that majority of functions are adaptable. However need some minor customization and am looking into plug ins which I believe are the way to go. With thanks and best regards, Naveen.

Hello Koha community, I'm excited to announce that koha-US Members have chosen Lawrence, KS, as the site for the 2022 koha-US conference which will be held from Tuesday, September 20 - Friday, September 23. Here are details regarding the voting: 34 invitations to vote for the koha-US 2022 conference location were sent via SurveyMonkey * 31 of those invitations were opened * 3 went unopened * 28 members responded * 22 of those respondents ranked Lawrence, KS, as their number one choice * 6 ranked 100% online as their number one choice * 6 ranked Lawrence, KS, as their number two choice * 21 ranked 100% online as their number two choice This will be a hybrid conference with live presentations in Lawrence that will be streamed via YouTube Live. Hi Ah Win Please always answer to the mailing list. In my e-mail from 2020 that you are referring to I was talking about patron data. But you are asking about bibliographic data which is a completely different thing. You need to convert your (Excel resp. CSV) data to MARC or MARCXML before you can load them into your Koha database. Batch modification: Possibility to copy subfield content to another field's fixed positions?

Hi, in order to be able to use the search index for publication year, the year must to my knowledge be mentioned in 008, positions 7-10. Is there a way to populate this with the content from 264$c which, in my case, is always a yyyy? In the templates for batch operations I can only find ways to copy into fields with subfields, not into fixed fields. Thank you for any idea in advance, and a good weekend to all!
