Install on MacOSX fails at apache

I'm trying to install Koha 2.2.9 on an Intel Mac and it's not working. All the pieces work separately (mysql, perl and apache) and the koha install script completed successfully, but I can't see the koha web page on my machine. I'm reasonably sure it's a problem with the apache setup but I don't know where to start. The koha-httpd.conf file is in the correct users directory so apache is seeing it.

MARC Check error

I have installed Koha 2.2.9 on Ubuntu 7.1 Server. When I run the MARC Checking setup in MARC21, 1 problem appears: item fields. ALL items fields MUST : - be mapped to the same tag, - and they must all be in the 10 (items) tab. Consequently, on the page Add MARC Record With Framework: Default, the number of the tags, the box of indicators and the letter of subfields not appear. I have reviewed the Biblio framework (MARC structure), but I do not find the error. Any idea? Jose Luis Alvarez IES Victoria Kent Library

Where is item call number saved in koha

Hello, I have a problem trying to find where the "Call number (combined)" 952k field gets saved. I know it is saved in items.itemcallnumber, but it seems to retain that information somewhere else. When I change tha value in items.itemcallnumber (via MySQL) it changes it for the simple view in opac and intranet. But when I look at it in complete view it still has the original value in it. Strange enough that the data seems to be saved in 2 locations. Any hints? Add biblio problem--error log

I set up the Z39.50 service to go to our current system. I'm having a problem importing a bibliographic records into the system. These are the steps and results I am getting. 1. Go into Catalogue/Add Biblio 2. Select Create Empty biblio. 3. Enter an ISBN in the 020 field 4. Click z39.50 Search 5. A box appears with our catalog address for the Z39.50 search 6. Do the search 7. After it retrieves the record select Import 8. It retrieves the record and fills in the default MARC record 9. Click Add Bibliographic Record and go to Items 10. After this I get the following error: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, samdahldh(a)vmi.edu and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. If you have any language specific or MARC variant specific Koha frameworks for sharing so that others may benefit from your frameworks in forthcoming Koha 3.0, the frameworks export script is now ready for multiple operating systems. The export script should function from any system with mysqldump and access to the database as the Koha user given in koha.conf . Expression of interest to download and use koha

Dear Sir/Madam, Mineral Resources Authority is a newly established organization that has a huge amount of geological records for the country. The library now intends to use the Koha -Library Management System to store all its records. We are confused as to how to execute the down load process. Koha on CentOS 4.4

I'm trying to install Koha on a CentOS 4.4 server for testing. I can't get Barcode-Code128 to install, I get the following error from the make test. Dear all I Installed koha2.2.8 with correct virsion of prerquisite software. I am having problems in setting 1. Authorised valu Admin ,I am neither able to add value nor add category. 2.MARC tag structure admin for default MARC framework starts with 010 tag There is no details of tag available ex 000 .I am not able to view subfields. Barcodes

OK. Is there a way to search the archives for the list? And quick question... I have successfully imported records, but when I go to add the item information, I am not allowed to enter my current barcodes. Auto-barcode seems to be stuck in the on position even though I've changed in the system preferences: catalogue tab. Other places that may be interfering? Thanx.
