My internet runs on Proxy. I am trying to set the CPAN. I have given the Proxy IP Address. But still i am getting upto the follwing point and structed up. Koha 3 Reset Database

Hello, I'm a very-new Koha user, and have a fresh installation of Koha 3.00.00 on Ubuntu 8.04. I initially choose to have the sample data installed out of the box, but would now like to try the application out using semi-real data. A search turned up only info for older versions, so I'll pose this question: What is the best way to reset or "wipe" the database clean in Koha 3, while (optionally) retaining configuration settings? Greetings colleagues, I entered the following two items Friday. One displays its availability, the other does not; see below. 1. Type: Book; Format: print ; Literary form: not fiction Availability: Copies available at: Stevens-Henager College, Boise Campus (1). 2. Type: Book; Format: print ; Literary form: not fiction Availability: I checked the items for each and they are the same except for price, call number and barcode. What do I need to do differently? Check under System Preferences>Catalog>Authorized values. If there isn't a category named CCODE, make it. Then when you choose that category, you can add valuesnames, etc. for the codes. Koha 2.2.9 reserve problem

Hi all, I don't know if this is a situation particular to my environment (win32, Koha 2.2.9) or if it's a missing/incorrect parameter ?? A quick google search for "Koha reserve" bring up a few bug issues from '07, but no real info or resolution. The issue: We have users (students) making reserves. Everything seems to work well from the user perspective. Under the Circ menu --> Reserves Pending, all of our reserves are show. As we select the patron name, it seems to be hit or miss as to the "items requested" section showing up in the patron record. If the "items requested" section is not in the patron record.....it makes it rather difficult to remove a title from reserve. Any ideas on this ??? Also....what is the "priority" section for (under reserves pending) ?? Thanks for any input. -Scott Owen

22_to_30 problem: addbiblio.pl: Wide character in null operation

I've been trying to follow the docs at http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=22_to_30 to upgrade from 2.2.9 to 3.0.0 and I get the Koha interface up in the browser. So far so good... Duplicate record screen after Marc search import

After going into catalog > add new record > z39.50 search and selecting a copy and hitting import, we allways get a Duplicate Entry quesry screen. If we say no - we get two entries in the catlog. One with a copy and one without . What are we doing wrong ? Outstanding fines of $0.00 in Koha 3

I couldn't check anything out to a patron because of a fine of $0.00. I set preferences to allow fines of up to $0.01 to get around this, but it still warns of a fine of $0.00. Does anyone know what would cause that and how to fix it? -- Tim McMahon West Liberty Public Library

Adding Collection Codes

Hello, I have just installed the vmware image of KOHA 3, and things have gone smoothly. I have, however, been unable to find where one adds collection codes. I see where to add Libraries, and Item Types but not collection codes. It seems like this should be obvious, but somehow, I am not seeing it. We are a Horizon Library, and I am just looking at Koha, as at sometime in the not too distant future, we will need to look for a replacement to SirsiDynix's forgotten step child. KOHA SIP error

dear all , i having a peculiar error with SIP2.when trying to login through SIP the server gets disconnected immediately after a sucessful login.the Syslogd says Jan 19 09:05:44 boss acs-server[19989]: Sip::Configuration::Service=HASH(0x9582a24): Loading ILS implementation 'ILS' for institution 'CCL' failed Please help me to resolve the same.
