Hello community, any idea wher I can manage the content of the field items.items_location as a part of the biblioitems record? I didn't find a configuration entry in "tools" or "administration" and I can't remember who I configure it because you get a list of suggested values. This list I configured in the past, but also the https://schema.koha-community.org/22_11/index.html can't help me. Give patron permission to export database

Hi. I have got enabled the Export Database Tab for the tool "Export data" and I would like to give my colleague access to this tool too. Although I give her patron permissions for all tools, the tab does not appear for her. Does anybody know how to give a patron the permissions to access the database export? Thank you Isabel Pineda

HTML coding

Dear List, we are using Koha 21.05. For the fields 504, 520, 563 we are using HTML coding. In the "Normal view" html tags are seen, which is not normal, but in the ISBD view HTML tags are suppressed and the display of the records is normal. Is this a bug? How can we correct the display? Hi, same problem here. Googling around, I've found a related issue here: https://lists.katipo.co.nz/public/koha/2022-October/058542.html It seems to have to do with a constraint on a column, to be removed before the update can be applied, and then to be enforced again. But I wouldn't dare adapting that solution to this specific case without further guidance by someone more expert than me ... Could anyone help, please? Regards, Giuseppe (CC: Sami Rasheed)

Another DBI Exception for foreign key constraint in upgrade to Koha

Hi, The following message was sent and held by the moderator as being too long ten days ago. I have been unable to update to the current version because of this issue. I have removed the detail about the environment and installation that I included and that are usually asked for in a bug report. I will send the details if they are wanted Hi All, It seems like that for every other update I experience a DBI Exception in the update process. In the latest upgrade of 22.05.04-1 to 22.05.05-1 I have received the message: Upgrade to 22.05.04.002 [14:33:32]: Bug 31086 - Do not allow null values in branchcodes for reserves ERROR - {UNKNOWN}: DBI Exception: DBD::mysql::db do failed: Cannot change column 'branchcode': used in a foreign key constraint 'reserves_ibfk_4' at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Installer.pm line 739 Indeed, there are null values for branchcodes in the reserves table as I do not have any courses or reserves in my system. "Internal Server Error" after installing Koha -- Database has no tables

Hello, I am seeing "Internal Server Error" in my browser after installing Koha locally. I see the error both when I visit the public interface and the staff interface. I followed the steps for installing Koha on Debian/Ubuntu: https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_Debian I have also looked at "How to set up a domain name for Koha": https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/How_to_set_up_a_domain_name_for_Koha In the plack-error.log I see some entries that suggest tables are missing: C4::Languages::language_get_description(): DBI Exception: DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Table 'koha_demo.language_descriptions' doesn't exist at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Languages.pm line 363 I presume these tables will be created by the web installer, once I can get to the web installer. But the 500 error prevents me from accessing the web installer. Or am I wrong that the web installer creates the db tables? Should the tables have been created when I ran... koha-create --create-db demo Thank you, Ryan

Confusion over filtering search results by "current location" of an item

Hello, Please can anyone explain to me the role of the "Current Location" of an item in filterng results from searching the catalog (using the staf interface). The behaviour we are seeing is that items with no "Current Location" set DO NOT SHOW UP if you filter the seach results based on "Holding Library". On the other hand, if you use the "Advanced Search" and select a specific library, items with no "Current Location" DO show up. Also, when/how does the "Current Location" get set and how do you edit it? (The screen for editing items lets us change the "Permanent Location" but there is no column for "Current Location".) Any advice much appreciated. Let me know if you want me to explain this better! We are using Koha 19.11. Chris Brown (Voluntary Libraries in Sheffield)

touch_all_biblios.pl oAuth Failure

Hello all, Koha 22.11 Having an odd error with both touch_allbiblios.pl and touch_all_items.pl getting these messages for both: Failed to load Koha::Plugin::Com::ByWaterSolutions::LabelMaker: Could not find or check module 'Koha::Plugin::Com::ByWaterSolutions::LabelMaker' at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Plugins.pm line 124. Failed to load Koha::Plugin::RuleHardDueDate: Could not find or check module 'Koha::Plugin::RuleHardDueDate' at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Plugins.pm line 124. as well as this error in biblios repeating endlessly: oAuth error: Unsupported Use attribute (114) thesaurus-conventions Bib-1 Not sure what is happening but I haven't had those plugins for a long time. Turning off plugins in the koha-conf file removes those two errors but oAuth error still an issue. Kind Regards -- Christina
