problem with fonts

Dear friends, I am writing you again due to our problems with fonts in koha 3.8. When we search for a book in the OPAC the search engine retrieves the record. http://93.187.162.200/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=4 However, when we try to browse the catalog using the author's name as a search keyword (i.e. by clicking on the author name displayed in the record), nothing is found. In the search box, instead of the author's name, some strange symbols appear. http://93.187.162.200/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=au:%C3%94%C2%B9%C3%95%C…, In the previous version of koha we have not encountered such a problem. Please be sure to always respond to the list. That other livecd you mention is still almost two years old. Consider using Kyle Hall's virtual appliance (http://kylehall.info/index.php/projects/koha/koha-virtual-appliance/) but be aware that you cannot run Koha without learning to use Linux. software error

Hi All, I'm new to Koha and not very skilled at Ubuntu yet. I'm trying to help out my small town local library by installing the system. I've run through the install and I believe things went well, I've tracked down a few errors and checked that they were corrected, but when I try to access the pages I get the following error: Software error: Access denied for user 'kohaadmin'@'localhost' (using password: YES) at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Context.pm line 758. Compilation failed in require at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Auth.pm line 31. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Auth.pm line 31.
