For the moment, I make do with changing the values of the input buttons in the html code, as described by Andrii Nugged in the bug report, because my coworker doesn't understand enough English to work with an English language interface. Importing records into Koha - smaller batches per year of catalogization?

Hello all, (my messages don't seem to be visible on the mailing list, only replies to them are) I have finally received the export from our developers; they have provided me with an .xls file which I'll need to prepare for MarcEdit (check for errors and consistency such as uniform names of publishers, authors, duplicate or skipped inventory numbers etc.). There's a total of 9326 copies, so I was wondering if the best way to import the records would be to break up the file into several smaller ones, separated by the year in which they were cataloged? I could sort them by inventory number; the format we used for them is B0001/20## for books. I currently have the barcode in Koha set to <year>-0001 format (though I'm wondering whether it's better to use the EAN barcode format. Are there any preferences re: barcodes here in the list? Finally, when it comes to the mapping of the fields we had in our system and what's available in Koha, our fields were the following: In-house catalog Example title Title Preservation and restoration of tooth structure / edited by Graham J. Religious holidays with shifting dates

Hello all, I am wondering if I could get some clarification on this, as I seem to be misunderstanding how to set religious holidays which are celebrated on a moving schedule wrt the Gregorian calendar. I'd like to set up the coming Eid al-Adha which starts on June 28 this year, and will be observed on June 28 and 29. I thought I was supposed to select "Holidays on a range", with "From date" June 28, and "To date" June 29. However when I do that, every day from June 28 to December 31 is marked as Eid al-Adha. Should I instead go with "Holiday only on this day" for both the 28th and 29th, although that's not technically true? I will have the same issue with Eid al-Fitr, observed from April 10-11 next year. Hello, My name is Paulo Neto, i am from Portugal and ive been working with koha for some time. I do have a problema on koha 22.11: Ive migrated a 18.11 koha instance to a new koha 22.11 instance, done the schema upgrade, the zebra reindexing but for some reason i cant sear the catalog it doesnt give me results Although the bibliographic records were imported sucessfully, this hapens in opca ando n intranet view when i cleck search catalog and enter a search string.
