Concerns regarding Let's Encrypt and Koha

Greetings Colleagues, I would like to encrypt the domain of my library's OPAC and staff interface using Let's Encrypt. Are there any issues with Let's Encrypt and Koha which I should know about? Koha not working without Internet

Z39.50, ILL, and 952$r

Our little state (hint: starts with "V") has implemented an interlibrary loan system that seems to be unable to use Z39.50 correctly to query Koha in order to determine an item's availability. I'll try to describe the problem and then ask if there's a workaround in Koha. The state ILL system, called CLOVER, is able to use Z39.50 to query our library's Koha installation to determine whether an item is in our catalog. We told the state to use the MARC 952$r field returned by Koha (actually Zebra, if I understand correctly) to determine whether the item is available. This field contains the item's due date. If it is present and contains a date, the item is NOT available. If it is not present, the item IS available. But apparently, CLOVER is not able to handle a MARC field that is present sometimes and not at other times. It requires that the field be present ALL the time. That is the explanation given to us by the state when we asked why CLOVER wasn't working correctly (it keeps issuing requests for books that it had already requested). This seems like a serious bug, because there are at least 80 other Koha installations in our state. Unfortunately, CLOVER is closed-source and proprietary, so there seems to be no way for the state to fix the problem. Is there some workaround that I can implement in Koha and/or Zebra to force the 952$r field to be present in all records returned in response a Z39.50 query? I think CLOVER might work if 952$r were present but blank for items that are available. Thanks in advance!

Expiry dates for eBooks

Greetings all, A library wants to record an expiry date for ebooks so that they can be removed from Koha when they expire. One possibility is to record the expiry date in the non-public note field and run a report to find expired items. Does anyone have a better idea? Many thanks, Clint Deckard.

XSLT for UNIMARC

Dear List, We're running Koha 16.05.16 on Debian 8 with UNIMARC flavour. We want to move to XSLT for the display of results and item details in both OPAC and the Staff Client. However, we noticed a few differences when using the default stylesheets provided (UNIMARCslim2OPACDetail.xsl, UNIMARCslim2intranetDetail.xsl) as can be seen here: https://imgur.com/a/ZJrT6 Also, a quick look at http://git.koha-community.org/ indicates that there's a lot more 'activity' (in terms of commits) for the MARC21 stylesheets compared to the UNIMARC ones. Is using XSLT along with UNIMARC a 'supported' configuration? If so, are there any updated XSL stylesheets availabale somewhere? Have any other libraries using UNIMARC moved towards XSLT? jquery to make checkout history the default view in intranet

Dear all, Anybody tried making IntranetBiblioDefaultView other than MARC form, ISBD form, labelled MARC form and normal form (e.g. Checkout history). I'm trying to change it to jquery but can't seem to make it work. Anyone who already tried this?
