Hi In our library we are using an unchanged Zebra configuration as coming with Koha 20.11.00. The keyword search is described in https://koha-community.org/manual/20.11/en/html/searching.html#basic-search… There it says: "When a single word is entered, a keyword search is performed. You can check this out by typing one word into the form and note the number of results located. Then, repeat the search with a minor change. In front of the search word, type ‘kw=’ followed by the same search term. The results will be identical." This is NOT TRUE. Instead there is quite a difference. Search for: life * URL: .../search.pl?q=life * 821 results Search for: kw=life * URL: .../search.pl?q=kw%3Dlife * 788 results Does anyone know what is going on here? Koha - ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 NAV) Integration

Hi Good people, I work for an examinations body and we provide library services to students and staff. The organization is in the process of implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP. I have opted for the integration of Koha into the ERP system instead of having another LMS developed in the ERP. I need anyone who has experience in this area or if one can point me to materials on this area. Kind regards

Publisher question - Changing Background color

My talented listmates, I have a deadline for tomorrow and just was presented this challenge by a library patron. They want to change the "background" color inside of a .png graphic to pink in Publisher 365. It's a free clip art with the word Sheriff inside a circle and they want to keep the black lettering for the word Sheriff as well as the lines coming to points inside that graphic. They just want to change the color "behind" and round the word Sheriff to pink. This is for a menu for a small restaurant they just started. Would you be so kind as to share the steps in Publisher? I tried Page Design Background More Backgrounds and choose pink in the color palettes selection but ti changes the work Sherrif form black lettering to pink - not what this patron wanted. New Koha install - legacy import question

Hi there, I am a new Koha user and have just set up and installed a new Koha instance for our school library. We are running on a single Ubuntu server and I followed the Ubuntu/ Debian install documentation and installed from the packages. I am now trying to import our catalogue from our legacy system (Softlink Alice) and have run into some issues... In the MARC export from our legacy system the details for each item are stored in the 852 fields, specifically: * 852,k = Item Library name / location * 852,h = Item classification i.e. F for fiction or 242 for non-fiction Dewey code * 852,i = Item suffix i.e. CAR for author Frank Carr * 852,p = item barcode * 852,t = item copy number I thought that I could use the "Koha to MARC Mapping" to edit this, but after adding the new mappings in I get an error in the "MARC bibliographic framework test", specifically: *ALL items fields MUST :be mapped to the same tag,and they must all be in the 10 (items) tab* On the "Koha to MARC Mapping" page it states "If you make any change to the mappings, you must ask your administrator to run misc/batchRebuildBiblioTables.pl.", however when I run the /usr/share/koha/bin/batchRebuildBiblioTables.pl script I get the following errors: *unable to locate Koha configuration file koha-conf.xml at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Context.pm line 188.Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Templates.pm line 154.Use of uninitialized value $db_name in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Database.pm line 91.Use of uninitialized value $db_host in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Database.pm line 91.Use of uninitialized value $db_name in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Database.pm line 91.Use of uninitialized value $db_host in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Database.pm line 91.Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Auth_with_cas.pm line 42.Use of uninitialized value $db_name in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Database.pm line 91.Use of uninitialized value $db_host in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Database.pm line 91.Use of uninitialized value $INC[-1] in string eq at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Plugins.pm line 37.* Am I going about this the wrong way? Koha Multiple instance help

Sir / Madam, I was trying to install koha multiple instances but during Web-installation, I am getting a message "invalid User name & Password". I checked both the koha*.xlm files for both the sites and tried both each but fail. OS : Debian 10 Koha version 20.x Please guide me. It is necessary for regular in Indian Academic system as there multiple colleges in Same campus and buildings having affiliation to different universities. So kindly guide me. API Errors/Plugin Issues

Running 21.05 (Debian package) and attempting to install the Pay via Paypal plugin <https://gitlab.com/thekesolutions/plugins/koha-plugin-pay-via-paypal> from Theke. After uploading .kpz and flushing memcache/restarting Plack, the configuration page hangs on loading files from /api/v1/contrib/paypal/static/_nuxt/, which does not exist. API error log is here <https://pastebin.com/DhJcTPGs>. I suspect this is a larger issue with Mojolicious, but don't know enough to be sure. As a shot in the dark, here are my current versions of Perl modules mentioned in Bug 26893 <https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=26893>: Mojolicious (7.21) Mojolicious::Plugin::OpenAPI (1.15) JSON::Validator (0.97) Thanks for any help you can provide! using koha in school

Hello everyone! My name is Thies and I am quite new to koha. We are running Koha 20.11.05.000. in a small school in North Germany. At the moment I am trying to set up the patreons. I know how to sucessfully import a csv list. But I have some general questions to those I clouldn't find any tutorial yet. a) is it possible to generate a list of patreons that are too late giving back books? b) is it even possible to first generate class-lists and than sort patreons after class names (like 9a, 9b, 10a, 10b) The reason is, I would like to be able to hand out a list of too-late-pupils at the end of the year to each class-teacher. I couldn't find any option for this but I could imagine it's maybe possible to generate these options somehow. Thanks a lot for reading! Thies
