Web install issue with 21.05.05.000

I just upgraded my test system from 21.05.04.003 to 21.05.05.000 using the Debian package. After the web installer updates the database, it returns the message "Everything went okay. Update done. However when clicking "Continue to log in to Koha", you're immediate taken to the "Web installer > Check Perl dependencies" screen again, and the entire process repeats. If I exit the web browser, and go back in, I'm taken to the "Welcome to the Koha 21.05 web installer" screen again, asking for the library.koha user and master password. So, while obviously a bug, what would be the proper action at this point? Should I run the script "koha-upgrade-schema" to try and set things to normal? And again, an object lesson to always try out upgrades in test prior to touching your live production system! Thanks! Bruce

KOHA version upgrade support

Hi KOHA team, The version of KOHA that we are using is 3.10. KOHA software has a provision to auto-generate book labels (a label stuck to the book with information about the book and it's shelving location), after the details the book are catalogued into the KOHA. Our version of KOHA software does not have this provision. If possible, we want the latest up-gradable version of the KOHA software with the provision to auto-generate book labels. Which latest version is compatible to upgrade from the current version and what are all the steps? after upgrade koha from 3.22 to 19.05 zebra doesn't work in cron

I've successfully upgraded koha from version 3.22.21 to version 19.05.17 (in ubuntu 18.04 server) using only the tarball file because v3.22.21 was also installed from the tarball. I didn't use any koha repository during its installation/upgrade and therefore I don't have any "koha-common" service/package!. The problem is in zebra, zebra indexer doesn't work in the crontab, although cron works without any problem. I've koha-zebra-daemon service (link to the "/usr/share/koha/bin/koha-zebra-ctl.sh" script), which also works (as I think) because, when I run the command: # service koha-zebra-daemon status output is following: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ● koha-zebra-daemon.service - LSB: Zebra server daemon for Koha indexing Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/koha-zebra-daemon; generated) Active: active (running) since Thu 2021-10-28 13:51:55 +04; 2h 26min ago Docs: man:systemd-sysv-generator(8) Process: 541 ExecStart=/etc/init.d/koha-zebra-daemon start (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Tasks: 2 (limit: 9488) CGroup: /system.slice/koha-zebra-daemon.service ├─584 daemon --name=koha-zebra-ctl.koha --errlog=/var/log/koha/koha-zebradaemon.err --stdout=/var/log/koha/koha-zebradaemon.log └─637 /usr/bin/zebrasrv -v none,fatal,warn -f /etc/koha/koha-conf.xml Oct 28 13:51:55 ubuntu systemd[1]: Starting LSB: Zebra server daemon for Koha indexing... zebra utility after koha upgrade

After successful upgrading koha from v3.22.21 to v19.05.17 zebra indexer doesn't work in the crontab. I have the following cronjobs: PERL5LIB=/usr/share/koha/lib */5 * * * * KOHA_CONF=/etc/koha/koha-conf.xml /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl -b -a -z >/dev but after 5 minutes od adding new biblioitems they are not searched. If I run the command in the shell: $ KOHA_CONF=/etc/koha/koha-conf.xml /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/ rebuild_zebra.pl -b -a -z >/dev the new biblioitems are appearing in serch results. Can anybody help me to set up a crontab for the zebra rebuild utility?
