MARC field 008, subfield 33 set to "no fiction" by default

Hi. When I am cataloguing a new book record, the subfield 33 (literary form) of the 008 field is automatically set to 0 (no fiction). I would like to set the default to | (not used). I have got a custom framework that I am using for cataloguing, but I cannot find out how to customize the settings of the 008 field, as there are no subfields that can be customized. I can see that the field is using a plugin, marc21_field_008.pl. Do I have to change the setting in the plugin? If so, how do I do that? Thank you very much. Isabel

translating authorized values

Hi everyone, I work for a consortium that serves several languages. I'm working on cleaning up our authorized values for shelving locations and collection codes and was wondering if it was possible to translate the values that appear instead of creating new values for each language. I discovered that you can translate item types which is wonderful. I was wondering if there is an option to do the same thing for different authorized values. Thank you for your help. Lauren

Koha SMPT Server Configuration

Has anybody succeeded in configuring the SMTP server in Koha from version 20.11? I have enabled Gmail two-step verification and added SMTP details along with enabling email in my koha instance. I tried my best but failed. Hope anyone can help in this regard Thanks in advance -- Mahesh Palamuttath

Respected Sir, Iam Chitti Babu B,Librarian,J.H.A Agarsen College,Chennai,Tamil Nadu,India.i had installed Koha latest version on Linux Ubuntu.i wanted to send email alerts to my patrons for books which are overdue.we don`t have an email server.We installed POSTFIX.We tried to configure email in our server.It says email sent to patron.Bit when we checked in th inbox and spam there is no email.Source mail id is created for Library using GMAlL.Recepient email is also GMAIL.I need your help.Kindly guide to fix the problem.Also tell the proper steps to be followed for email configuration.
