While updating to 22.05 we're getting the error Upgrade to 21.12.00.041 [17:46:08]: Bug 30449 - Check borrower_attribute_types FK constraint ERROR: {UNKNOWN}: The 'borrower_attribute_types' table contains references to invalid category codes: at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/installer/data/mysql/db_revs/211200041.pl line 40. at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Installer.pm line 739 result from borrower_attribute_types; only 1 line with show_bcode no other patron attributes present besides show_bcode would appreciate any help.

On trying to install koha-common per https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_Debian: E: Failed to fetch http://mirrors.linode.com/debian/pool/main/g/graphviz/libcdt5_2.40.1-6_amd6…: 404 Not Found [IP: 2a01:7e00:1::b24f:af37 80] E: Unable to fetch some packages; try '-o APT::Get::Fix-Missing=true' to continue with missing packages root@technoluddites:~# aptitude -o APT::Get::Fix-Missing=true root@technoluddites:~# cd /etc/koha -bash: cd: /etc/koha: No such file or directory When I ran the aptitude -o command, it pulled up a Lynx-style character graphics windowing system that looked somewhat complex. Our Union catalogue sends us hundreds of redundant Marcfields 841, 852, 887 relating to local information for all participating libraries. There are 860 libraries in the union catalogue, so we are really drowning in unneeded info I'm trying to set up a Marc-modification template to delete 841/852/887-fields that are for libraries outside our consortium of nine libraries The 841 and 852-fields looks like this: 852 ? - LOCATION b Sublocation or collection E H Classification part Topo Västergötl 5 Librarycode E 852 ? - LOCATION B Sublocation or collection Tida H Classification part fol 5 Librarycode Tida I managed to delete unwanted 841/852 fields with this template: Delete field 852 if 852$5 does not match RegEx m/\Gull|Hjo|Hova|Kabo|Mari|Sksb|Tida|Tikf|Tore/ The real challenge comes with field 887! The first instance doesn't contain a librarycode - but should be kept The following instances contains a library code, and should be deleted unless they contain any of our librarycodes Any ideas? Need help to reconfigure Koha Mail with Gmail

Dear Koha Community Our koha mail system is set up to use a gmail account to process outbound email, using the "less secure apps" option in the gmail account. This has stopped working for us (and I'm sure for many others) now that Google have disabled this feature. I am looking for specific advice on how to reconfigure Koha so it continues to work with gmail (setting up an "app password" perhaps?). I have seen a little discussion about this on the list but no real guidance. Can anyone help please? We are running Koha 19.11.22 (installed from packages) on Debian and we're using postfix 3.1.15 as our mail transport agent. Thanks! Chris Brown (Greenhill Community Library in the UK)

Hello, In koha version 22.05 and Ubuntu 20.05. In Tools --> Export data --> Export database and Export configuration There is no option to download files. Only the message "Unfortunately, there are no backups available" appears Is this a bug or is some configuration missing?

Multiple simultaneous connections to SIP2

We have a content provider, Lyrasis, attempting to use a SIP2 connection to our Koha server to do user authentication. Lyrasis claims that our SIP2 server is not able to handle multiple simultaneous connections, but but I could not reproduce the problem with my own test scripts. I was wondering if anybody else had run into this problem. Here's what they're saying about the problem: "So long as we don't have more than one active connection, when we send the login message with or without the `rpl` location code and with or without error detection, we get the same successful login response message (94) with `login_ok` set to `1` (success). Subsequent status (99), patron status (23), and patron information (63) request messages also return the expected results. "But if we attempt to open more than one simultaneous connection, all messages hang and timeout. "Would it be possible to allow our service to establish more than once connection? Our service runs on multiple servers, each supporting multiple threads, so it is likely that we would, from time to time, need to make multiple simultaneous connections to your SIP2 service." -- I think I'll just sit here and wait until life gets easier. --Ashleigh Brilliant
