Help needed with zombie background_jobs processes

Hi all, A couple weekends ago I upgraded our Koha instance from 22.05 to 22.11, and I'm having trouble with the background_jobs processes becoming zombies after a very short amount of time, necessitating a reboot. I suspect it's a misconfiguration on my part, so if someone can shed some light I'd really appreciate it! The first symptom was our MARC imports getting stuck at "import queued", and after some digging (and thanks to the thread in this list with the subject of "Background job / Staging MARC import stuck at 0%" I found I was entirely missing the <message_broker> section in our config, so I added this: <message_broker> <hostname>localhost</hostname> <port>61613</port> <username>guest</username> <password>guest</password> <vhost></vhost> </message_broker> Which seemed to resolve it, but now I find that the background_jobs processes are going zombie after processing only a few jobs. Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket

Dear Collogues, for two weeks I get an every 2-5 minute error from the cron below. I can run the commands from the cron without a problem. Also, I can connect to my database without a problem. Any ideas? Barcode not found - Show matching titles

Hello, I'm trying configure my Koha instance so that can process a checkout on books that do not have barcodes associated with them. I've tried enabling <itemBarcodeFallbackSearch> but it isn't working. When I click "Show matching titles" I get an empty model that says: Barcode not found. The following items were found by searching: There's nothing in the model, even though I know the book is in the catalog. I've tried reindexing Zebra, but it didn't help. Indexing for indic-arabic scripts in koha

Hi everyone, I am using Koha which hosts books in multiple languages other than English, including, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Assamese and Urdu, The Bibliographic records for such books are multilingual (with Non-Roman characters in 880 fields). The system retrieves accurate results for English records, but for non-English books like Hindi, and Punjabi the results are not precise. I read somewhere that there is a specific command for zebra indexes that enables non-indic scripts more accurately retrievable. Could you guys help me out here, please? Thank You Rupinder Singh

UNIMARC cataloging plugins/value builders - help with how to setup and use specific ones for a bug fix

I've been testing a bug for cataloguing plugins/value builders (it is aimed at fixing the cloning of subfields that use a cataloguing plugin/value builder - see bug 30975 https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30975 for more information (this is an omnibus bug, with individual bugs for each cataloguing plugin/value builder)).
