[Koha] question on adding new languages

Hi Hugo, 

I use a software called Poedit to find those problems and fix them. I am sure there are other ways to do it, but that's what I do:

1) Open the po file in Poedit.
2) Try to save the file and Poedit will start to complain about any fatal errors in the file.
3) Look at the line numbers of the errors and locate them in the editor. Normally the line number is off by 1.
4) Fix all mistakes until the po file can be saved.

If you don't get any error messages upon saving try to change the preferences of the editor.

I checked the Spanish OPAC po file on translate.koha-community.org and found no errors. 
But there is one error in the file released with 3.6.1:

...2927: number of format specifications in 'msgid' and 'msgstr' does not match
06:47:45: msgfmt: found 1 fatal error

2926:
%s since %s%s 
%s %s %s%s 

I think fixing this could help your problem.
Another option could be using the updated files from translate.koha-community.org.

Hi to everybody

We have already install one koha 3.6.1 into ubuntu 11.04 and after the
installation we have tried to install the spanish package we are
experiencing problems with the detailed view of the OPAC, while in the
english version us running fine.

I have revied some old post and I have seen some similar behaviour with
Koha 3.4

I wish to ask you If you think that it could be the same problem I think it
is... but I wish to share with you

According the old mails the problem rasies from a %s missing links in the
po files, we can check by our own and fix in the templates... but we need
some support to identigy the problem in the .po files...

any body may guide us to fix the problem and we will release the corrected
files to the community
