[Koha] Borrower categories admin

I'm curious about some of the settings in Borrower Categories administration 
(/cgi-bin/koha/admin/categorie.pl).

- Is Enrollment period a value in years?
- How is Fine Type used? And Bulk? How about Overdue Notice Required?
- Isn't there a 'maximum number of reserves' setting?  Is this not linked to 
patron category?
