[Koha] Cannot edit record if indexing fails?

Koha doesn't like Call numbers with non-ascii-characters. I don't know
why ...

If I remember well the time I was dealing with this problem I had to
work on the mysql-database itself.

I think this is clearly a bug to be reported.
