Brooke and Owen, My friends, I am very delighted that you responded very positively and constructively.
I just stumbled on Koha 2.2.9 on Internet as I was looking for an Open Source Software we can use for our College library.
Which Open Source Integrated Library Software can you recommend for me that can run on Windows XP or 2003 since we have not yet migrated to Linux or Ubuntu?
I wouldn't run a service like an ILS in a shared/general purpose machine (worse if you plan to publish your OPAC on internet). That said, you don't need a "migration to linux" to run koha. Just pick a computer, get an Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS (5 year support) iso and burn it to a CD (or use some specific tool to make a USB dongle bootable), follow the setup instructions, and then come back to the list for further instructions. The Ubuntu server install is pretty straight-forward. And let your XP boxes alone. Install Firefox or Chrome on them to get a better experience. To+
