1. We are running 3.0.0, but just sent in a request to our IT team to upgrade to 3.0.4 today.
Good idea.
2. The spine labels are not splitting properly--half of the call numbers are not showing up. With reference to barcode labels, none of the bibliographic data is being displayed, despite being set to BARBIB and the datafields being set to "Title, Call Number, Barcode, Author."
I have attached a PDF of our barcode generation (barcode[1].pdf). It should include the title, call number, barcode, and author, as mentioned above. You can see it does not. The second PDF attached (barcode[2].pdf) is the spine label generation from the same batch. You can see that it does not provide the entire call number. Here is a link to one of the items in our catalog that is part of that batch:
http://koha.lru.edu:8080/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/detail.pl?biblionumber=7873
In fact, to even get that much, I had to turn off the "Split Call Numbers" feater. :(
3. Will submit comment to bug 2500 soon
Looking at your LCCN call number format: 'BV 4501.2 .L82 1991' it appears your catalogers insert a space which the algorithm does not anticipate between 'BV' and '4501.2.' The fix is trivial and I'll submit a patch for it in the next few days.
4. We just submitted a request to our IT team for any error-logs.
Great as it is not clear why the bibs are not printing correctly. Kind Regards, Chris
Thanks again for the help!

Koha 3.0, Zebra. It may also be worth noting that I created a separate layout/template for spine labels and included only the call number, and in that case, I get only a partial call number, although the full call number is listed correctly on the results and details page.
Are you running 3.0.4? or earlier?
Are the problems only with the call number splitting?
If so, please submit samples of the call numbers that are failing to split properly (include the numbering system you use ie. DDN LCCN etc.) as a comment on bug 2500 (http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=2500)
Are there any associated errors in koha-error_log?
Also, can you attach pdfs to this thread showing the problems.
Kind Regards, Chris

Hi Chris
2009/11/20 Chris Morrison <cmm1005@gmail.com>:
I'm trying to print barcode labels and have a funny little problem: I can't get Koha to generate any bibliographic information on my label--just barcodes with the number. I even set the layout type to "biblio only" and just got a blank page!
What version of Koha are you running?
Is it zebra or nozebra?
Kind Regards, Chris
