Hi Colleen, We use Koha to maintain our small library collection, as well, compiling journal citation index (cataloguing conference papers, book chapters, etc. shouldn't be much different). We use MARC21 and utilised MARC 773 (host item entry) to create the link: subfield $t (title of the source), subfield $x (ISSN of the source, if required) and subfield $g (related parts, such Vol., No., and pagination information).
