Lori,
I'm of two minds on the Petaluma proposal. On the one hand, I'd like to have KohaCon there because that's just down the road from my library in Oakland; on the other hand, I'd like to have it in a foreign country because I could have an excuse to travel!
I like India or the UK for similair reasons. The US had 2009, and have a kudos conference this year too. I think moving hte Kohacon around to different countries is good. The europeans have had to do the US, and then NZ the last 2, would be nice to have one a little closer to home for them. My 2 cents Chris
Seriously, I'd be happy to help with the planning in any way I can if there's interest in having it in Petaluma.
