We do not have call numbers assigned to our books, however shelf browsing was working for us pre koha_3_02_03.
According to Bug 4957, the shelf browser is disabled if items have no call number (specifically, data in the items table's itemcallnumber field): http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=4957 I'm not very familiar with the issue, but I assumed that the bug report existed because the shelf browser didn't work without call numbers. -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries http://www.myacpl.org
