The co-op's review of candidates liked Gitorious and self-hosting. I can go looking for the reasons if anyone's interested.
Of course, git means we can clone it all over the place fairly cheaply, so I think the RMs should be free to choose the primary locations, as long as they're stable and accessible.
I think Chris Cormack gave me access to the Gitorious koha, so I could set cron job(s) on the co-op servers to keep that updated if that's a good idea and no-one else wants to.
I can give any one else who wants access to the gitorious repo access also, just tell me your username. (I push there as a backup for my local repo on git.workbuffer.org .. git.catalyst.net.nz has a copy of my work repo) Chris
