I remember this being very cryptical in the beginning, fleshing out this section of the manual seems like a good idea. The thing that was really weird to me was that Koha keeps records from earlier Z39.50 searches. It took me a while to figure out why I sometimes saw records for books I knew I didn't have (but had shown up in Z39.50 searches). I think it's a pool of records previously downloaded from z39.50 partners or uploaded from a MARC file. It's not controlled or kept in any one file.
Other koha users: should this been in the manual? I didn't spot it there.
