[Koha] Call number issue

We have our call number also in the 090.  Our class scheme is Dewey (yes
that doesn't match, it's been that way forever) When we finally figure
out how to migrate the item data with the bib data will ALL our call
number records have the wrong information as it does not pull from the
090?

The issue for Koha users is that Koha sucks the 050 into the 952 $o but
doesn't pull from the 090.

An LC cataloging record that I need puts the call number into the "090"
tag which raises the following questions:

1.       Would the cataloging gods be offended if I put the call number
into the "050" tag?

2.       If I preserve the integrity of LC cataloging, would I have to
manually insert the call number into the bib record?

3.       When I import the record from the Z39.50 search, the "090" tag
doesn't appear; how would I insert it into the koha record?
