Hi Lynn

Cookies would definitely be my first suspect, either that or are you
behind a proxy that changes ipnumbers?  The other thing to check is in
systempreferences, there is a preference for session timeout, you
could check that isn't set to a low number.

But no, that is most definitely not normal behaviour
