[Koha] Zebra indexing problem?

We have a Koha v3.0.1 system set up by a 3rd party for us.  We are having a lot of problems trying to locate books in the system.  At this point we appear to have been left on our own by the 3rd party to figure out the causes and fix them. (No communication from them in over two weeks despite our attempts to contact them for help.)

I'll provide a typical example of the biggest problem we are having:

Title: Can buildings speak?
ISBN:  9781842345238
Barcode: 30108000050931

Biblio info shows typical info on the book and the "Item(s)" tab shows a single copy with correct barcode.

If we search the catalog (http://koha.dce.k12.wi.us/ ) for the title or partial title there are no matches.  The same thing if we search on ISBN.

If we go into circulation and try to "check out" the barcode, it finds the book.  I can click on either the title or the barcode # and get information about the book.

If we go into cataloging and search on either barcode or title it returns "No results found" and below that says "Biblios in reservoir" followed by the information about the book and an "Add biblio" link.

If I run: rebuild_zebra.pl -z -b -a
It completes within a few seconds without errors, however, nothing changes for search results.

Any recommendations of what I can/should check or what to do next?
