[Koha] Results display in Koha 3

I'm trying to upgrade from 2.2 to 3 and the search results aren't correct.

In the OPAC listing, it tells me the item is available even if it's 
checked out.  It will tell me it's checked out if I click on it to get 
more detail

In the intranet listing, it tells me the item is available even if it's 
checked out.  In the detail view, it tells me it's checked out with the 
patrons name and the due date, but below that it says it's available.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
