[Koha] Dewey and Item Type

Hi all,
	I was wondering whether anyone could tell me what Dewey maps to in MARC? 
  Scoured SimpleMarc.pm and came up with 082.

Also the item type drop down field on the Koha test drive site, what's 
the MARC mapping for that??? or do you choose it when you go on to 
submit the record?

If this is true where do you set up item types?
just enter them into the db? or is there a gui? or are they pre 
determined like marc codes for em???
