hi
this is just a personal opinion:
i am a member of several opensource lists, and find that periodically a
debate opens as to how to use opensource without worrying about where your
next meal comes from.
when these debates flare up i also find that the listadmins usually allow
them although they are OT
i would suggest that there should be two kinds of OT:
1. stuff that should not be allowed on the list
2. earning a living through open source, which should be a priveledged topic
that even a listadmin should not be allowed to zap.
in fact, why not hardcode this requirement into gnu/gpl?
regards
kg
