[Koha] Next Cataloging SIG!

Hi, all!

The next Koha-US Cataloging Special Interest Group ("Cat SIG") meeting is this Thursday, November 4, 2021, at 8 PT, 9 MT, 10 CT, 11 ET, and you don't have to be a member of Koha-US to join us!  You don't even need to self-identify as a cataloger!  Join us for our usual roundtable of questions, solutions and resource brainstorming, tips, tricks, suggestions, bug & development awareness, and the usual laughter, fun, and fellowship to discuss anything cataloging, authority, or metadata related in Koha.  Actual catalogers do attend, as well as the cataloging curious and those who have had cataloging thrust upon them!

We've had a few questions submitted ahead of time, so we'll start out looking at:
What is with​ those "linking entry fields?"  77X-78X?  ("X"?  Is this algebra?!?  No--it's not!  It will be math-free!)  And what is meant by "link"--what does that even look like?  Can't I just put all the versions on one record, or why have separate records for an e-book and a print-book?  And is it the same for other things, like maps and videos?

And for special excitement, our Koha catalog at work is being upgraded from v.20.05 to v.21.05 tonight so this may be REALLY exciting!  Or completely theoretical.  We'll find out together!
