I used this command:

*/60 * * * * mysqldump -ukoha_library -pkoha123 Koha_library | xz > /home/koha/backup/koha_library.sql.xz

Last it worked was on Sunday March 31 at 6 am my time. Has not worked since.

The hourly back up has stopped working on my machine. Have Ubuntu 20 and Koha 20. I tried the Crontab -e but it did not work either. I have no idea how I lost it but would like to put it back.

Hi Caroline

Unfortunately it doesn't help just adding MARC 000, or adding MARC 000
and setting a default value of " nam a22 7a 4500". Still special
characters are mutilated. I have now tested this with Koha 18.11.03,
19.11.05 and 20.11.00.

I have commented the bug report accordingly:

https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbugs.koha-community.org%2Fbugzilla3%2Fshow_bug.cgi%3Fid%3D23675&data=04%7C01%7C%7C7c8ff2187c834b4568d008d8c960bf04%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637480764673134577%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=gzNdEcgjpfRxm9NpbYyFp6mACLjb47I6k60NQ5Hktjs%3D&reserved=0
(UseACQFrameworkForBiblioRecords default framework is missing LDR breaking encoding)

One library uses the following workaround: Instead of going to menu "Acquisitions" and adding an order to the basket "From a new (empty) record", they first create the title data record and then add the order to the basket "From an existing record" by giving the number of the created title data record.

Many thanks for giving me hints and creating the original bug report!

Best wishes: Michael

Br Raphael

Which instructions did you use to set it up?

When did you last know it worked and can you find any messages in any
logs from that time?

Do you still have some package called something like "cron" installed
on there? Maybe systemd-cron?

Hope that helps,

Hi all,

We recently upgraded to 20.05.08 from 19.11, and we've found that the
advanced search option in the staff interface for publication date by year
range isn't producing any results for us if we use it. Specifying it with
y,st-year in the keyword search instead *does* produce results though.

Does anyone have any ideas what might cause this? I've tested it on
Bywater's demo, which is running 20.05.04, and it does work there, so I'm
guessing it's some quirk specific to our system rather than an actual bug
(unless it happened to be introduced between the .04 and .08 releases).
Here's our server specs:
