    Thanks to everyone for the responses.

    We have tried installing ElasticSearch, but ElasticSearch 6.8.9
garnered a 404 error after this command:

$ wget
https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-6.8.9.deb

    (I would have included a screenshot, but when I did so last week, it
caused my response to be held for approval.)

    We are inclined to install ElasticSearch over Zebra because we have
quite a large number of 242 and 246 titles that also have to be indexed as
titles and/or variant titles. We have seen the instructions for creating a
new index in Zebra, but they really are a bear to implement.

    Suggestions?

     Many thanks.
